Her poor Mother. I can only imagine the disarray the house will fall into with Joanne’s mother off her feet for the next few weeks/months. I genuinely can’t see Joanne doing much in the way of housework to help out, but on stories she’ll no doubt be leading us all to believe that she hasn’t a minute due to tending to her Mother and keeping the house. In reality she’ll probably be tucked under her blankie, huffing and puffing if she’s asked to get up and do anything around the house.
 
I'd imagine the mum is going to be transferred to a rehabilitation nursing home to convalesce following surgery. Its probably been noted she won't receive adequate care at home. I wish her well and hope this is a turning point for everyone involved. Joanne will have to step up and catch herself on, the people in her life deserve to be supported and looked after.
 
I agree with @BigMavis that she is probably going to a convalescence home to recover after her op. It's a very sad indication of Joanne's abilities that she cannot look after her mum at home. I've cared for a parent who has had a hip replacement, while holding down a full time job, it's demanding but not difficult.

I feel very sorry for her parents being in that position.
 
She is just so self absorbed, the accident only happened on Sunday and she's already talking about "helping me for me" and "getting focus back on me" and "me time". What a selfish wretch.
She will be nothing but a burden on her poor parents, I can see it now, her mum will be hobbling around the house and Joanne will be under her blanket watching tv asking if there's any chance of a cuppa.
Her poor mammy might be as well in a rehabilitation setting, at least she will be getting a rest from tending to her lazy 30 year old lump of a daughter.
 
I have no words for Joanne anymore. This has already been pointed out, but those stories lastnight were all me me me. Her poor Mother has just broken her hip and gone through surgery and how deep into her story was Joanne lastnight before she even acknowledged that, she was far too busy talking about herself and how overwhelmed she has been that it slipped her mind it would appear. What a sad state of affairs. I truly feel for her poor parents, I really do. That lump of a woman better pull her weight from here on out, it’s the very least she can do for them.
 
I've not been following Joanne for long I never watched her stories before I only saw her posts thinking she's a fashionista and I genuinely thought there was a want in her. About two days ago I watched her stories for the first time I was shocked at her behavior. She comes across like a spoiled self centred teenager that has serious notions about herself. This girl clearly has identity issues or something you'd think her family would give her head a wobble and tell her cop on.
 
She's off for coffee and getting her manky nails done today, you would think she would have the cop on to not post stuff like that with her mum lying in the hospital, it just makes her look like her priority is with herself and how unconcerned she is.
Joanne love, I hope you are getting your nails done short and square, with all the housework, cooking and cleaning you have ahead of you in the weeks to come, your usual talons that you use to scratch your arse with will be totally impractical.
 
Well some things never change, a tragedy in the family and joanne is all me, me, me, i, i, i ... heard it all before from the girl in the past, from her granny passing away and her mam sick before with cancer, to even her dad having heart attack and even when he was robbed at knifepoint in london, it was all me, me, me out of her mouth christ she just is a naracisst through and through....
For the record, joanne doesnt drink hot drinks, doesnt like tea or coffee so must be hot choc or someone elses beverage...
At least her mam will be looked after well in south infirmry and care arranged for her with a district nurse cos joanne wont be bothering her hole to help look after her...
 
How did 4-6 weeks turn into 2? I knew it couldn't be that long. I know a woman who got a hip replacement, she had to do two weeks in a nursing home and then home. She only went to the nursing home cos she lives alone and had no one to mind her. And it's sad to say but I thought she was lying at first! I'd hope she wouldn't go as far as lying about something so serious.

I was going to say… the odd bit of a wave in the middle of her hair only…. Plaits from the ear down and the bobble half way up from the end! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hard working… has nothing handed to her… bla bla bla… she doesn’t work and has everything handed to her, even her dinner handed to her by mammy and daddy… I feel sorry for her parents, in a time of need right now that 30 year old waste of space makes it about her and too busy having her nails done and posting stupid oversaturated colour photos with awful captions… Christ if she was mine/family/friend I’d have given her a slap of cop on a long time ago… selfish entitled brat, thinking doing the bare minimum will get her an easy life… the likes of her drives me nuts when I’m paying a fortune in tax every month and very high rent… but I’m able to stand on my own two feet and not be a burden to anyone working hard in an actual job for what I have 🤬😡 like us all in the real world!
