Surely their old one is still perfectly fine? It wouldn't occur to these scroungers to say to the company they don't need it, but could it be donated to a worthy cause? Like a refuge for mothers and babies for eg.

Yeah my friends are doing well for themselves financially. Definitely not upper class or anything, she's a teacher and he works in IT but they both work full time and are good with money. They still had the (quite expensive!) pram from their first child when they got their second but they got a different one because they are both quite tall and they couldn't walk with it comfortably. Still looked brand new but they gave it away for free to a woman in their neighborhood who unexpectedly got pregnant and her partner left her immediately as soon as they found out. She's not well off at all and really struggles. As soon as they heard about it they immediately gave her their old pram. Poor woman couldn't stop crying, she was so grateful because it had been a big worry of her. Jim and Sarah could have done something similar. Just ask around for a bit, there's always someone who needs a pram and can't afford one.
I really don't understand this level of greediness.

And let's hope tomorrow can be a day off seeing JC's hairy white torso :sick:
 
I think it's pretty sad that she hides her body or makes it look so and so to make herself look slimmer/different.
To me, women who just gave birth are absolutely stunning no matter what because their body did something incredible! How about honouring your body and appreciating it for what it has done: produce a beautiful child! Why hide that? I'm really sad that a lot of women don't feel like this but in stead feel insecure / make it a completition who "bounces back" (i HATE this btw, there is something so disgusting about it) the quickest and the best. I remember when my old colleague gave birth and she constantly defended herself on why she wasn't losing weight. She had a horrible birth and was grateful both she and the baby were still alive! A few months later she still had her pregnancy weight, and each time we were talking about eating/food/weight/working out she defended herself despite nobody asking her. I felt so sad for her because to me she looked beautiful, she always did.
Someone in Sarah's position could have a good influence but in stead she does this. It doesn't help others at all but in stead makes the situation worse.

I would imagine Jim doesn't exactly help with her confidence
