I think about that as well. I've always been a private person, so I suppose I will never really understand the you tube fixation. I've always felt that you tube and narcissism is a marriage made in heaven. I suppose it provides a needed distraction for some. In my case I would find it intrusive. Talking to people in your same situaton could be comforting and therapeutic. But other than that, I would find it a bit horrifying knowing so many healthy folks were watching the story of my impending death as some type of reality show.Then when you get a horrible prognosis, your subs shoot up. I could never take it. Even for the money. I'd be angry all the time.

it’s gross, I found Jenny through Tiffany’s thread and I think it’s best described as a car crash not wanting to watch but there is a morbid curiosity, my husband tells me to stop watching as it’s not healthy and I agree with him but I’m invested and as annoying as tiff can be I really want a good outcome for her. Jenny too but cancer is such an awful disease and I think she needs to think about quality of life at this point. I also follow nicknacklou thread on here and she is the worse, she’s not on any active treatment potentially has weeks to live and is still on Instagram. At what point will they step back and make the best of their remaining time. The thing that irks me with all the cancer influencers is the rouse of ‘raising awareness’ when it’s actually a big money earner and lack of transparency, eeakking out results , staged thumbnails etc is actually sickening when you think about it. But it’s more a reflection on the times we live in. The comments on their videos shows the parasocial relationships people are fully invested in these people it’s not healthy at best and cruel manipulation at worse.

I'm sure Ashley (Jenny's Sister) doesn't mind, but tit Jenny puts alot alot of pressure on her Sister, calling her to calm her in panic attacks despite Kyle being right there at the time (previous videos), relying on her medical advice as she's a Nurse, babysitting Jenny's kids, needing to be with her all the time (she got upset when Ash went back to work after her maternity leave). Ashley has two children to raise, still breastfeeding the baby, a husband and works full time!! Jenny's neediness would drain me.

The kind of pressure Ashley is under would give me a nervous breakdown. I'm not being facetious, I've had two terrible breakdowns before as a result of stress and pressure. Jenny can be very self-centred.

I'm glad lm not the only one that thought that. The amount of stress Kyle and Ashley are under with Jenny would push me over the edge as well. Get a home Nurse, Nanny for the kids etc it's not like they can't afford it!!!

Jenny is the typical me me me sibling/ friend/ parent/ partner who will suck your soul dry! She's that narcissistic needy princess who will always prioritize herself over everyone else. Yes, Kyle is clearly on some mood elevating drugs. He was super depressed at some point, when the "bad news" scans came back and Jenny was given the news she only has months to live. Then they came back from the trip to Oregon and he was still so low he could hardly speak. He's been manic for weeks now, something has obviously changed.

Kyle and his 2 brother-in-laws going for a guy's night out at Disneyland. Really? So was the Disney night planned first and that's why they're staying at Ashley's house or, since they're staying at Ashley's house, Kyle has asked the guys to go to Disneyland. It doesn't matter but it's still a very strange "guy's night out."
