"Hugely gifted comedian" what??? Now I don't mind some of his stuff. Parts of his chat show are alright and Gavin and Stacey was watchable if not overated. But firstly he's not a comedian and secondly he's a huge team that writes for him or with him.

Had read stuff like this about him before, that he was a prick, but I wondered if it was just because people didn't like him (including me). Turns out it all seems to be true. Maybe this is why people dislike him so much. Karma.

Same here. I love Romesh hosting it and really enjoy it now. My partner though, liked it even when Corden was hosting, and because he often watches things with me which are my choice, I felt obligated to return the favour and watch League of Their Own with him, and my heart would always sink if he suggested watching it because it really felt like an endurance test. I think my partner got the message from my face that I really wasn't enjoying it because we hadn't watched in absolutely ages until Romesh took over. Now I look forward to watching.
