wait they kept to themselves but also were a genial bunch sharing food and recipes. Hokay then

I'm not a fan of wide-eyed, staring at all the "strange" "ethnic" "foreign" "culinary delights" of "different food cultures" "hungry for new food experience after growing up on beans and coronation chicken from the corner shop" ( must have been a posh nisa even then) neocolonialist bullshit jack
BIB - Yes, but you aren't filled with bright-eyed childlike wonder at the magical beauty of the Forrin culinary delights, you cynical ole Canal Frau, you.

Tak. In the shared house she moved into for 2 months in 2013 when she lived with her Mummy, Daddy and her younger brother and sister four Polski LADY cleaners

She foisted her foul slops upon them “as is common in houses of multiple occupancy”, and in return they turned her into an EXPERT in their cuisine View attachment 3325527 q

so much of an EXPERT in fact that she was commissioned to write an article on Polski Skleps and Polski Cuisine!
(Said commissioned article had literally nothing whatsoever to do with her inventing four Polish lady cleaner housemates who were never, ever mentioned before and have never been mentioned since)
I still think the imaginary four LADY Polish housemates were inspired by 2014’s saucy Eurovision (LADY) milkmaid and her (LADY) friends 🇵🇱View attachment 3325529 q

Absolute hornballs. Gawd help any passing young man.

Good job several posters here (including me) diagnosed chronic kidney disease, wasn’t it Jack? Saved you the effort of caring about your pet as a responsible owner. 🤬
Don’t believe for a second she’s actually been to a vet and got him care, and won’t unless she posts the itemized bill with today’s date on it. She’s just playing to what’s she’s read here and thinks she’s scoring clever points in her facile NHS ‘argument’.

Re-sharing the pic of Coops from a month ago and a ss of the DIRE alt.

I thought at the time that him drinking for six minutes was guest’s ridiculous, everyday exaggeration—and six minutes is a hell of a long time—even watching him drink from the tap for one minute is a proper chunk of time when you are there doing it and should ring warning bells. I can think of no reason why it took her so long to get to the vet. If anyone asks her she’ll be bound to say it took that long to get a dx. It does not take a long time to get a kidney disease dx.

(Re the previous mention of not all insurers cover dental: Petplan is an old faithful, not cheap at all, insurer that does.)

Thanks @Darvos ❤️

If you can't afford insurance you can't afford a pet. If you choose not to pay for insurance (unless you're able to part with up to £3k in one hit I guess) you don't deserve a pet.

My cat got hit by a car and although the bill would've been £1.5k - week in hospital, surgery, various scans, meds, a feeding tube for a week and lots of follow up appointments - in total was £75 (the excess) and a small amount to cover the food whilst she was staying there, which for some reason wasn't covered.

If she used up the £500, what happens if the issue doesn't go away? (Plus at least say £20 a month that's only 2 years of savings - how long has she had coop? I'm guessing the insurance pot is the same as her pot of savings from not drinking that she's going to use to treat SB to a glorious summer with any day now...)

I think animals are literally a lifesaver for many people without the funds to pay insurance, whose pets are very much loved and cared for. And if you’ve lost your job or can’t work for whatever reason, losing your pet because you can’t afford insurance would be devastating. That’s exactly why organisations like the PDSA are so vital. Not for you Jack, with your £157k in cash for a flat.
