Why Coal Tar Soap, Old Spice, Brut and Brylcreem you ridiculous fantasist? According to you (multiple times over the years) the only thing the nasty old git reeked of was tobacco and the only thing you copied from him was boilersuits, liquorice cheroots, and the word duck. Oh and exploiting people worse off than yourself for money and just being a generally appalling human being, of course. View attachment 3274051 qView attachment 3274052 q
I'd forgotten what a ghastly old scrote saintly Grandad was. Constantly laughing at and disrespecting his daughter in law. And encouraging his simpleton granddaughter to do likewise.
No doubt guest inherited her canonisation of the men in her life from him to the detriment of the women.

Imagine if she put as much effort into actually having a personality as she does constructing a fabricated one.

Nice early Xmas present for us ninnies though. Like old times!

I'm crocheting in front of the fire in my pyjamas, watching crime documentaries with the cats while it pisses it down outside, enjoying the canal's hilarity (and guest's banality). It does all feel quite festive!

The only thing missing is Germolene (''if you don't have Germolene, Root Beer will do'').
Omg. There are no surviving tweets where she mentions Brylcreem. Only one each for coal tar, Brut, or Old Spice and they’re all the same single tweet. You may enjoy this.

Of all the things I could pick up on but ffs no kids would ever pick sugared almonds and I doubt woolies had them on the pick n mix either. I’m ten years older than her - why does she strive to make everything sound like a bad Enid Blyton book?

We're done boiling soap into shower gel then, yeah?

Coal Tar Soap is, of course, banned these days - it's not directly carcinogenic, but by photo-sensitising the skin does increase the risk of melanoma. Pears and Wrights soaps are perfumed to smell roughly the same, but now use other anti-bacterial agents instead.

I mean, we all knew she was lying, but this yet more evidence if anyone wants it.

Swarfega is a specialist cleaner for people who work in engineering, construction and other manual trades, such as printing. You buy it in Screwfix and B&Q, not the local pharmacy.
