She changed SB’s surname and he went nuts when he found out, which suggests she didn’t need his permission.

Yes what’s notable about this is the Mel Donte photoshoot approx a week later where she looks a) not like this and b) like her most recent career has been boxing, where she took a lot of hits to the nose

Was just reading the Grazia article illustrated with this pic. What a bullshitter.

I was thinking that she made a damn sight more effort with that collab than she did with the Superdrug one 🤣

Well, at least she didn't recommend saving money on fruit by shoplifting tins of Mel Donte.

The more I look at that article, the more ridiculous it gets. From seeing friends get sober, I know it's true that they have more of a sweet tooth because they're not getting the sugars they would be getting from booze. But I don't recall any of them being so sugar deprived and/or having such a sugar addiction that they had to carry a big jar of sweets with them around the house. If they were craving something sweet, they just....went to the kitchen and ate something sweet. But no, guest being the most sober soberest person of all time, had to elevenrife this into lugging a gigantic stash of goodies everywhere

I feel like it was solely a way of shoehorning her “alcoholism” in. So subtle, much nuance

Ah, but the massive, draughty bungamansion is so huge, and she's such a smol and vulnerable pixie, that by the time she'd made it to the kitchen she'd presumably have fainted from cold and exhaustion.

Jack herself has said she sometimes wishes she hadn't changed her name.

Jack's name change was before her (alleged) transition.

Jack has said in interviews that her name change was a type of pen name, which suggests it started out as a way to differentiate herself from her fame hungry father.

Deadnaming only relates to people who transition, as their former self is "dead". Jack constantly refers to her former self and weaponises it as often as she can.

Jack uses her former family name (though never her former given name) which suggests it is not linked to trauma.

Jack has often suggested that she may revert to her former name, indicating that it causes her no anguish.

Whilst I wouldn't refer to her by her former name, it is clear to me that her name change was, as most things in her life, was performative.

THE END.

The only issue I have with people using it is that it causes the usual subjects to use it as a distraction from the grift. That said, her 🐒🦋 brigade seem to have disappeared.

ETA that if she actually had been trans I would have a completely different view. As it is, co-opting identities for her own purposes damages others for whom owning their identity is a battle against hatred, violence and oppression.

Sorry, probably one of those things that’s either: been covered already, or: everyone else knew.
Her last profile pic with the big hand, the black and white one. I seem to think some on here thought it was a recent one but I had it in my head it was an old one.
Found it on her Facebook. It’s from 2016.
