That is Guest 100%.

I’m green with envy over all these classic rock and even classic FM car dads. Mine likes jazz. Not the okay sort of jazz where a lady with a smokey voice sings over a soulful sax, but the horrible sort of jazz where each track lasts an infinite amount of time as every single musician has to squeak and honk atonality during their own solo before the whole damn lot get together again to cause some kind of ungodly racket.

My dad held firm control over the car trip listening. Van Morrison and Paul Simon's Graceland were on repeat, interspersed with Gilbert and Sullivan. He was a huge Dylan fan too, although I don't remember this ever being played; it's possible my mum vetoed that.

I think my first cassette tape was the soundtrack from Annie. Still love a bit of musical theatre, although my peers educated me in the ways of 80s synth pop, power ballades, rock and hippy stuff like Cat Stevens. Am very happy with a good singer-songwriter these days, plus frequent dives into jazz, blues,, world music and the Great American songbook.

My first big concert was WOMAD in the early '90s.

People are complicated, innit.

That one is wearing a guest like outfit, but I think this one looks like they're wearing Tiffany earrings tho

I agree. I actually said I thought that was her but then everyone else thought it was the pattern shirt lady so I removed my comment. That looks like her body language though, the tilt of head, the clothes, I dunno, if it’s not her some poor sod has an aura of guest about her.

Can someone who is more arsed than me actually check when fleetwood mac toured the UK?
Around 2019 at Wembley, they last toured without Lindsey Buckingham and replaced him with mike Campbell from tom petty and the heartbreakers and Neil Finn from crowded house. Christine mcvie has passed away now so the band effectively is over. You'd probably see better performances from a tribute band at this point
I shudder to think how much you spend to get to the front at Wembley though

So the ‘young’ people in the ‘office’ are probably going to be 20+. Their parents are probably all going to be older than Jack because they can’t possibly be unmarried as she’s the only person to ever have a baby out of wedlock in Southend.
I’d guess most of them are in their actual 40s and actually remember the 1980s and they’ve probably heard it all before.
However we have Jack ‘gather round young people, you won’t have ever met anyone as old as me before, let me tell you what it was like in the olden days, you will be shocked and surprised…’

Why does she act like she’s never met actual humans before.
