I think No Win No Fee lawyers have insurances in place, so if the costs couldn’t be recovered they could claim from that.

I think KH did ok in the end though, she moved to America (her career here had dropped off) she went and hung out with the MAGA wankers and stuff. It was probably a grift, a negative image of Jack.

Imagine the fawning and casho donations if Jack said KH defaced a HIV memorial, but she meant some other right wing nutter woman (IDK possibly LizzTruss the way she’s carrying on, nb Liz Truss has never defaced a HIV memorial that we know of).

She’d be a f-ing millionaire and people would be saying “well Katie and Liz are the same, no wonder Jack got them mixed up, why should she go to court, it’s obviously a mix up. Why should she apologise, I can’t tell those two apart! Katie has made such a fuss that everyone knows it wasn’t her what done it, it was Liz” swiftly followed by “let’s all throw money at our hero, she needs a house for her and SB after ebil Katie stole it all away”

They certainly are! Toddlers in particular are just little plague rats once they start nursery/playgroup etc - but that's actually good* thing. It's how they build up their immune systems.

Those kids are the ones wh, when they get a tiny bit of freedom (eg at university) go berserk with drink, drugs and dangerously promiscuous sexual activity.

Either that or they find it hard even to talk to other people.

Of course, these days there's a third option - they sit in their rooms surfing the dark web and end up unaliving themselves or others.

We need to build up an immunity to society as well as to disease.

It’s the first time I’ve seen it, and read the ingredients, too. It is somehow simultaneously not what I expected, and exactly what I expected. I can’t believe she got paid to turn out this tripe.
 
Legit looks like the slop I've just served to my cat that, instead of eating, he just keeps sticking his paw in as if to say "what is it?"

(he has no teeth so I have to water everything down so it all looks so bleeping rank, and he's all out of his favourite so we'll be going through this stand off until I can replenish next week!)

For once, Jack’s not lying. KH entered an IVA and made agreements with her creditors from the case (and elsewhere) so she could avoid bankruptcy. It’s all over the press at the time.

I can’t say I feel particularly sorry for Jack’s lawyers in this. They’d have known taking on the case there would have been a good chance this was the result, they likely went into knowing they wouldn’t get paid and judged the publicity from the win over KH was worth it for them.

Mark mate didn’t count on being landed being tagged in things by Jack for the rest of his days but he sounds like a twit anyway 😂

This "recipe" makes no sense. The tinned stewed steak is already cooked so it doesn't need further cooking, just warming up. Adding a tin of tomatoes just stretches the meat and makes the whole thing more soupy. Fine if you're really broke and trying to make a little meat go further but I fail see why onions or other veggie additions are optional -- I think you'd need some extra texture to make it less gloopy.

Using cola with meat is sometimes helpful to tenderise and marinate before cooking (I'm sure she's swiped the idea from Nigella who swiped the idea from some American cooks who do ham in cola) but there's no advantage to adding it after the meat is cooked, other than providing a sweet flavour which would be rank. It defies explanation here.

Why am I even bothering with this?

If this squig is genuine, they must have damaged taste buds and no teeth.
