Yes, I remember this, think it ties in with my memory re lumps or something.Re. The cancer baiting, I’m pretty sure there was also a follow up “poor me” post at some point about having bad numerous cancer scares over the previous year or something…
Yes, she definitely mentioned a breast lump when she was fishing for pity. But not once did she signpost followers to anything related to breast health. Nor did she point out that most women experience breast changes that can be entirely normal*. She is adept at spreading fear as well as encouraging people to believe she is the victim of many tragedies. She is no advocate for women's health and she in fact just makes it harder for women to be taken seriously by doctors. As with the ICU story and any other story were she references friends, I automatically change it to “someone who lives in the area who’s misfortune I read about in the local paper/ heard from mama Ev / heard on the grapevine”- none of these people she refers to are ever her friends. Just someone she knows through someone who knows them through someone, or it’s just a bit of local gossip that she self inserts herself into for internet fawning and sympathy. See: behaviour following Jo Cox death.

I saw a man at the mammogram once. I wasn’t surprised, as they have some of the same tissue and can have the same problems, right? Literally nobody was batting an eyelid. You are spot on, @People-huv-tae-know
I have a male friend who has had breast cancer.
He is 100% ok now, but was so lucky to have been diagnosed, as you say, it's so rare.
All he does is fundraise, post stuff about awareness, in the most positive and non self centred way.
I'm so glad your friend is better now. That must have been especially difficult and even lonely to go through as it is so rare in men. It's great that he is raising awareness too. More men need to know this. You are spot on, @People-huv-tae-know

Agree. These true campaigners are who we need to lift up and honour. Not the likes of lying, grifting, cos playing monroe.I'm so glad your friend is better now. I didn't know about male breast cancer until I read Peter Criss's book, he was diagnosed with BC a while ago.I'm so glad your friend is better now. I read about in an article about 20 years a go and have to admit I was surprised. It didn't occur to me that it could happen to men but they have breast tissue too. They don't have to be massive moobs or pecs either for it to occur. I think it helps if men are aware both for themselves but also to help partners (a task they relish anyway). It's the same with menstruation. Boys need to be taught from a young age so they can support women and girls appropriately rather than it being misunderstood and feared.I didn't know about male breast cancer until I read Peter Criss's book, he was diagnosed with BC a while ago.

Why does it have to say licking fingers? Sorry to anyone who does that but it turns my stomach when people do it.
Utterly weird. Spyscape is some sort of spy-themed experience and museum in New York, with a completely random selection of people in its “Superheroes” section (none of whom have anything to do with spying, and some of them are rather problematic to say the least). The journalistic standard is rather low too (“non-binery”, anyone?).What the hell is this crap? https://spyscape.com/article/jack-monroe-the-chef-who-started-an-anti-poverty-revolution
Is she locked down again? Why does she keep doing this? It seems a bit.....erm, flaky??? To keep flouncing off if you don't like the responses you're getting???
Can you not make fritter rhyme?!!!Plus all the books and shelves and general clutter give her away as someone with money to fritter.
Yup she doesn't leave it unattended now does sheIt's her way of controlling the narrative. When she's around and tweeting a lot she opens up, otherwise she locks again so that no one can start up a quote or reply she can't quickly react to
