To what end tho, she has literally had no career this year at all.... i dont know alot about showbiz etc, but i gather you are replaced by the hotter new talent pretty quickly and are left opening pizza planets, down the highstreet or turning the christmas tree lights on at the local WI event.

I dont miss her awfulness, just when she made a tit of herself. She is the Richard Richard of arseholes.

Was the fake crying selfie (so many questions) not the cancer baiting one? Or are all trauma selfies interchangable?
 
She has a big problem in that she doesn't have a new book to promote, so the usual book festivals won't be interested in booking her to talk. It's super competitive to get into places like Hay and Clitfest, and they strongly favour authors with new books. And one you've done it, you're unlikely to be invited back the next year unless you're a fan favourite/regular.
I also suspect that organisers are getting wise to her poverty misery story - she's got nothing new to say. Very telling that her agent can only list activism and campaigning from a decade ago - there's nothing new of note (and I bet they can't be bothered to update her profile - in my experience they are lazy and only update your profile if you ask them)

Also, the way she goes on about "suck it trollz, I've already been invited back!" makes me cringe. I've spoken at loads of big festivals, been in the media, had a great time, hobnobbed with the organisers and producers - they ALL say "oh you must come back!" 🍉 But unless you're a big star who people just want to hear, you don't get invited back unless you have something to say that's new or different, or you've done something of note. Alas, guest thinks that just being in a room listening to her honk on about THE POVERTY and THE TORIES and I GOT PRGENANT ON POPPY SEEDS is enough. It very much isn't.

My understanding is that the blubbing Rishimate selfie was a tweet calling on Chancellor Sunak to extend COVID furlough assistance to the self-employed. You know, what with her & Louisa struggling on just the one TV executive salary and all.
Sad face headscarf selfie is “I have the long COVID” I think.

I mean I think those poverty activist tears would have been more appropriately shed at the injustice of the £20 benefits uplift not being applied to legacy benefits, but what would I know.

We can all benefit from someone we respect telling us “That’s a bit crap really” when necessary. She’s sabotaged herself by having everyone around her constantly on eggshells. I mean which of them would dare?

Wasn’t she ineligible for self employed support because she hadn’t done her tax return for the year before?
