Think I've said before, she walks on stage in this clip exactly like an old man I worked with 30 years ago who had a hip condition that I'm too squeamish to dwell on. He walked like he had one foot on the road and the other on the kerb, too. Although afaik he had never trained for marathons, yomped to Asda, came back to ballet after a ten year sabbatical, or skipped on stage to butcher A New England with Billy bleeping Bragg.

I've seen all these screenshots of Jack angry at people comparing her "poor people are too stupid to cook cheap healthy meals" writings with Tory politicians saying the same thing but I haven't seen any actual justifications for why it's somehow different. It seems odd to build a career on making the cheapest possible meals and aiming your books at the poor and at people who can't cook and then saying in the next breath that obviously you don't think the problem is that poor people can't cook or that they don't know how to make ten full meals for ninepence. Posting your Asda haul and boasting that you feed three people for a week for £20, and then arguing that no you didn't say it's possible to live on so little.
She’s not big on logic

Two chairs that look like roadside specials. Also the £785 CHESTERFIELD CAPTAIN’S CHAIR she “found in a skip

I never realized that there were fake poppies for remembrance--seriously, are the poppies sold by a specific organization to raise money for vets? If not, just what is the problem with wearing an offbrand poppy? She does realize that lots of people make and sell artificial flowers and that the prevalence of them in Facebook, Etsy, etc. feeds has more to do with search algorithms and the time of year and not fake rememberers.

Cor, imagine that! Some grifter making fake poppies and probably claiming to give a percentage to a charity, I’ll bet.

Yes, the Poppy Appeal is the Royal British Legion's annual fundraiser, they're the UK's largest charity supporting the armed forces.

Who gets patches of paint like that on their overalls? You get splashes and speckles, not great big splodges. Once again, it's all performative.

It looks like Aunty Pat read something in one of her women's magazines about livening up an outfit by appliquing pieces of a cheerful floral fabric onto it. But Pat was so excited to complete it, mate, that she didn't read the parts of the instructions about balance and proportion.

ETA: And then she read the article about "shred your old denim jeans to make a stunning collar for a blouse".

Because she’s a lazy cosseted provincial attention-and-money-seeking moron who at 30 years of age still hadn’t managed to wrap her head around why on earth anyone who didn’t live by the sea might need (or indeed wish) to swim?

Not shown how to cook, she says? How about the teacher who showed her how to make a vermouth and blue cheese pasta dish?

What Jack seems to have issue with here is people doing something themselves, in this case making poppies, and then saying they’ll give some of the proceeds to a charity, either the RBL or others.

The only reason I can think of to justify her annoyance, is that she didn’t think of it first. she has done this time and time again, so I assume she’s no longer irked at people who have done this.

Did he spend the first 90 seconds of every conversation talking about being a sucker for a man in uniform in a pub of 200 Royal Marines even though he’s a lesbian, couldn’t quite hear them, they’d been on some protest march or other and his dad and brother are in the military and it’s not a funny talk it has nothing whatsoever to do with the subject at hand too?

How the literal duck did anyone take her seriously about anything, ever?

My Dad - the paratrooper fib again. As corrected by Big D MBE himself on her Wikipedia page.

Hang on, is that supposed to be a bed? Has guest ever actually sat on one of those sledges? The slats are narrow and dig painfully into your arse (even Mediterranean arses) on a short trip down a snowy hill. It would be the most uncomfortable thing ever to sleep on.

You're supposed to use it to pull your shopping home or transport a small child through the snow using a cord at the front.

I have never watched this before. Usually a five minute YouTube clip is enough for me. It's he amazing to watch her in full flow though, she has so little self confidence 🙃.

She loves herself almost as much as she loves Big Choco. But in a cruel twist of fate, Big Chco loves Jack almost as much as he loves himself. At least they both agree that Big Choco is the best.

At the beginning of the talk, when Jack says "my dad was a paratrooper" I half expected her dad to stand up and shout "I wasn't a paratrooper, how dare you"

There's always something new to find out about Jack, and it's always something she should be ashamed of.

Poppies are sold by the British Legion to raise money for projects for veterans. They were first sold in 1921/2 to assist with care costs for veterans of WW1. They were originally made of porcelein if i recall correctly.

The Daily Mail is a Nazi shitrag.

Jack wouldn’t be seen dead in a Nazi shitrag. She has columns in the Daily Mirror.
