And this is only the Patreon.

I remember a squig asked for the £50 they'd paypaled her back and she needed further information to identify the transaction, presumably as she gets so many £50 tips that she couldn't narrow it down.

I remember having my mind blown by that. It's insane. £50 to her was nothing. Just part of the flood of other people's cash.

Yep. Patreon was just a fraction of the immense sums she was grifting. PayPal handouts (either to sue Lee Anderson, or to buy shower gel) would have raked in a small fortune. Then there were the brand partnerships. The book advances. TV appearances. Speaking arrangements.

She had SO MUCH bleeping MONEY.

I glance at these threads and see I have to grunk 50 pages during the busiest part of my working year?!?

Exactly. Remember her famous, legendary garage sale of yore? Ya know, the one where she sold her child's plastic dinosaur (bollox she did, would've fetched like 3p). Our esteemed archivist @Valiofthedolls found her original online advert for that sale and she had loads of high ticket items like fancy crockery. Later on a piano was added to the mix (she sold it and it tOrE hEr vOiCe aWaY). How many genuinely WC folks in their early 20s would've amassed that sort of personal property? I, and I suspect many others on this thread, was broke in my 20s but would never have had a garage sale precisely because I had nothing of value to sell. Not even a laptop in my case because I'm an old crone and in my day laptops were something that only super fancy businessmen had (along with huge mobile phones that they had to cart around in big briefcases).

So all that to say, I think she's been on this splurge/starve/splurge/starve train for a long time, and the Dickensian tales of having to 'cope without butter' or not having lightbulbs are bollox designed to eke maximum pity out of friends and family. It's also the height of passive aggression - look how you make me sufferrrrrrr!!!
i bought my first flat at 22; i didn't know what a high ticket item was. i had everything i needed, but was absolutely skint - asking the person on the tills to sub total after every 5 items and putting the rest back once my shopping got to a certain amount, and going to my parents for dinner the last week of the month. Still had friends round every weekend and had the time of my life. never grifted off anyone, or told lies to get sympathy from strangers.

i wonder how many of her invisible, made up very closest friends are currently stroking her, holding her, bringing her back from the brink and being with her 24hpd. She'll claim to have been at so many meetings she won't have noticed the furore.

Goodness me, this time last year all she had to worry her was walking past some mince pies in Sainsbos.

I suspect she thinks she can’t close it because that’s her rent money. How will she liiiiiive without it (apologies to LeAnn Rimes). She’s spunked all the rest of her earnings on sideboards and snow, but she’s got to keep the roof over her head.

The point that it’s immoral to take money for nothing isn’t even on her radar - she just thinks about how she needs the rent.

I'm certain this is all real. It really ties up with everything we've been speculating on for years on here. The info may be ill-gotten, but it's accurate. The only thing I don't believe is the claim that she's NEVER sent out anything. We have screenshots in earlier threads about rewards being sent out in the early days of Patreon. Her way of Patreoning is actually particularly stupid (there's a surprise). Sending out lots of physical rewards regularly (ONCE A WEEK for TSOB) is time consuming AND expensive (postage, printing). That's why most Patreon's work best with digital rewards, like podcasts, e-books, music, etc. and only occassional physical rewards for long-term or high-tier subscribers.

If she had fulfilled her Pateron as designed, the £130,000 over 6 years wouldn't have been that much, because something like £50,000 would have had to be spent on the actual rewards and the remaining money works out at around 20 hours per week on minimum wage. I suspect she would have to spend close to that time per week on keeping the Patreon rewards going - remember, it's not just the physical job of constantly printing and posting postcards, but also creating new recipes, photographing everything, writing scathing essays, etc. If she actually did any of this, her Patreon earnings would be justified and if anything, low.
Indeed. Like everything she doesn't do does, she massively over promised and instead of setting up what could have been a decently paid, fairly low effort self employed business, she created herself a low paid, boring and time consuming job. Because she's lazy and entitled she was never going to stick to it but amazingly she realised that people will kee paying her even if she doesn't actually do the work and that's that. Most people would fold their business if they realised they couldn't fulfil their obligations but not jack. Jack just sat there hugging herself and not quite believing that she was getting all that money for nothing, but being jack it wasn't enough and she had to just keep pushing and see how much more she could get. Hope it was worth it, Jack.

This has really ripped my knitting. I'm lying in bed battling a chest infection because I've got two bloody jobs I'm trying to balance, I've just had to move over my last savings in the world to get back under my overdraft limit and payday isn't for two weeks, I feel tit and desperate and that **** has been getting money for lying about that kind of desperation. I don't care if she's been hacked. I know I should but I don't. She deserves this. For the money and the cruelty to animals and her behaviour to her son and to others, she deserves it all. GOOD, Jack/Melissa. Do you hear me? You are getting your just des(s)erts and ironically they're from your own recipe.

A reminder for Jack that holding paid employment and attending work each day is an okay thing to do. Lots of people do it!

Jack, why was it either starvation poverty or thousands of pounds, and nothing in between?

This is an example of a rhetorical question.

Does anyone recall maybe last year when she screenshotted a bank account and it was in a negative balance?
if so, what month was it, please? i'd like to look against what she allegedly had from Patreon at the same time.

Also sparing a thought for the female who "flung her £200" to her paypal after one of the begs. again, would love to know what month that was.

This Patreon info is interesting, but can you IMAGINE what she's had on paypal? that's before the 10-15k speaking events, festivals, collabs, tv, media etc.

Oh Squig, if you’re reading here then please DONT do this…her recipes DONT work, people will waste time and resources then feel bad about themselves because they will think it’s something they have done wrong when it’s not. It’s bleeping hard enough being poor as it is….just Chuck the book straight in your nearest incinerating vessel (mantle fire, wood burner, fire pit, nuclear reactor, space rocket launch pad) and have done with it.

Please don’t subject its horrors to anyone else.

Jack clearly never really understood how to work her patreon with setting up frequent physical stuff as if it was a one off Kickstarter.

Probably a combination of being lazy and stupid. But rather than fix it to make it manageable and offer refunds for anyone that wanted her arrogance led her to carry on. Possibly she thought changing it would be a win for her detractors.

I doubt anything will come of it, from the looks of it barely 1% of people that actually gave were annoyed at not getting all this stuff in the post. The vast majority were happy to give her cash for her online presence and "activism" to exist. A crazy thing to spend your money on, but people are free to give their own money to unworthy causes.

She might have not logged into her patreon in ages - apparently there's a tick box to auto withdraw. Which I expect everyone would tick when making their first withdrawal.

From You Don't Batch Cook When You're Suicidal:
I do almost all of this work for free, not because I can afford to (I can’t), but because that’s just the way it is at the sharp end. We proffer our Widows Mites in the shadows of the noisy Pharisees, and quietly hope it makes a small difference where it’s needed.

Jack, i've said it before and thought i meant it, but i know today that i actually really mean it this time.
i'm scarlet for you, babe.

I remember we were all trying to guess her Patreon income after the Nigel’s bounce. Ran a search at my guess, found this from September last year, well I thought it around £5k a month….well below that £10-11k 🤦🏽‍♀️😁 but look at Yel‘s comment, who I was responding to, they made a jokey comment about £10k, but it was spot on, they kinda called it 😁

I know it's not a popular opinion but I'd file patreon figures as mildly interesting.

We all knew the number of patreons and with the lowest tier then assuming 90% are on that the estimates we had were pretty accurate (taking into account those that pay a year in advance).

Patreon earnings are probably the least interesting figures from her as we pretty much knew it. Crazy to risk a criminal conviction over hacking them, but we are where we are.

Paypal now that would be interesting as it's a total mystery, but they have a lot more security (quite rightfully) so even if her password was Paypal I think they have mandatory two step enabled. Not that anyone should ever try to access anyone's accounts. We live in a funny old world where people do the stupidest things for likes without thinking of the ramifications.

Accountant Man: so last month you earned £11,000? Can you break down what that’s for?

Jack: ‘I blog recipes and do activism and send out postcards’

AM: ‘okay, so you can claim the postcard printing, envelopes and stamps back as working expenses. Do you have the receipts?’

Jack: ‘no because I am a disabled alcoholic single mother living in poverty’

AM: ‘…..?’

Jack: ‘I’m going home now, I’m closing my business anyway due to the evil trolls so thanknospaceyou I’m going for the bus’ (pulls on empty performative rucksack)

AM: ‘where should I send my bill?’

Jack: (out the door, faintly) ‘send me an email, I’ll get to it’

AM (muttering) see you in court.

And that’s why she closed shop. FACT. Probably.

I don't think so tbh, I think she's got a spending addiction and when she gets a lump of money in, spends compulsively on sideboards, make up, penhaligons, fancy designer clothes etc etc.

Then she panics and does a blog beg. Gets more money in. Repeat.

If you match her biggest blog begs against evidence of spending (eg DKL - Edinburgh trip & sideboards; Jan '22 - massive snowfall; HH2 - European trips) you can see this pattern, imho.

On a related note, HH2 gets more egregious and shameless every time I re-read it. It's like every time I re-read, something new and terrible reveals itself that I hadn't noticed before, like grifty Cormac McCarthy novel. Sheesh.
I think she's pissed a huge chunk of it up the wall. There's been a huge amount of evidence consistent with someone on the sauce- the slurred speech, just out of bed appearances, dramatic online outbursts- and very little behaviour consistent with prolonged sobriety. There's not even a scant teaspoon of evidence of her working the steps.
