Currys can get to absolute feck anyway. I worked 🍉 for an offshoot of PC World Business for 5 years. All the managers and sales teams (I was admin) got huge bonuses and commission even when figures were poor. In the 5 years I was there we had 3 restructures where we had to reapply for our own jobs meaning people were constantly let go. In the end they sold the offshoot to another company and most of us lost our jobs anyway. So I'd say Currys and Jack deserve each other

Can someone cleverer than me please archive the Retail Times piece? https://retailtimes.co.uk/currys-pa...recipes-that-could-save-you-up-to-78-a-month/

They are starting to get flamed for this and if I was them I’d just delete the X post and the article on their website - after all, they’re not invested in this, it’s just someone else’s press release. I’m not sure if it’s been published anywhere else so it may be our only copy.

Thankspaceyou.

Here we go ... no dirty deleting for guest today

EDIT: the wretched recipes part 1, part 2, part 3. We can have the "best slop" category in the Sloppies this year after all ... although I do think everything in Grifty Kitchen should be eligible

So all haircut monitors, when was this 'filmed'?
I would say, as her hair is still red, in between entering the witness protection programme on 16 June, when she cunningly disguised her identity by dying her hair red and then sharing a photo of it with half a million people online, and Greenbelt, 24-27 August (hair short, dye washed out).

I should stop now, but the lemon chicken is also very similar to this Guardian recipe in all its blandness. Although at least the air fryer version won’t be so undercooked that a good vet could still rescue it.

So the sticky chicken on the Curry’s site bears a lot of similarities to a chicken recipe in Sloppy Food for tit Days. Minus the beer. She’s just padded out the instructions with air fryer tit.

And the vegetable ratatouille mess? Awfully similar to an old Bootstrapcook recipe but with slightly different veg and feta instead of Brie.

So the only recipe I think is ‘unique’ at this point is the chilli one, but perhaps someone with a stronger stomach can look into that. She’s so lazy she plagiarised herself three times.
Full disclosure - I have some kind of stomach bug thing and the thought of any food is not appealing right now but lime, soy sauce AND garlic butter? 🤢

Two things about that Guardian recipe (ahem). Note how she has crowded the plate to make it look like an adequate portion. Now imagine it with one thigh, one drumstick and 100ml of the yoghurt. Mmmm. Filling.

Secondly, why is she recommending “groundnut” oil at all? It’s more expensive than sunflower oil, and sunflower oil is less likely to kill any guests who might have a peanut allergy.

twit.

Remember the bad old days when guest would jump on anyone who dared to say anything even slightly negative about her on twitter? Then the FMs would pile on, and she would sit back and allow someone to be bullied until they deleted their tweet or left twitter completely?

Those days are gone, lads.

I think the Currys collab was Agent Adrian's attempt at a clever rebrand for guest. It's not totally aimed at her usual crowd; instead it seems to be trying to cater to a wider audience. And it's a complete bleeping disaster.

(Mind you, if he was hoping to reach a wider audience, it's working. 18K views on that original tweet, and not a single response with anything positive to say about guest)

Edit: Now 19K views. Hopefully guest is watching the view count go up just like she did during the Sue Lee stuff. :D
