I can’t even with the kitten ...
That will cost thousands to help out / maintain
She knows this, but is willing to give it a go. No way to insure this easily / if at all.
She is being dismissive to sensible replies and gushing to blue ticks
That poor kitten doesn’t know what it’s signing up for. Its legs don’t look strong enough for piggybacking.
I've just gone over to Twitter and couldn't read it. It's an animal, not a bleeping designer handbag.

I know Jack annoys me, but this is on another level.

A lot of people seem to have weird feelings about vets, I've noticed it on the dog groups I read. (Am so cool, I know). They don't trust that they're not "overcharging" yet clearly depend on them to take the best care of their animals. Very odd.

The PDSA comment on Twitter was funny. Basically "PDSA, it's a charity so money going to something good". Hun, no. It's hugely discounted vet care for people who can't otherwise afford treatment.

In fairness that cat may be ok, I know a cat that had a twisted spine and was able to live to a good old age and was pretty agile, however orthopedics are one of the priciest of vet treatments. I used to help out alot with cruciate ligament replacement as well as other bone ops and those bills got to dizzying heights.
That's what I mean though, she's getting lots of anecdotes from Twitter randoms, and it could mean nothing for this cat! Her post is pointless just now when even she doesn't know the diagnosis.

I'm on a Lab group, the prices for some ops like you mention (cruciate, hips or elbows mainly I that group) is eye watering! Touch wood my boy hasn't any issues.

Yeah, my dog is 10 and slowing down a bit so there's been time to consider the future and what I do/don't think is reasonable. For example, he got a bit of an old man prostate so had a quick little one day procedure for that but if it was cancerous, I was just going to let him flop about happily and let it run its course. (It wasn't, he continues to flop about happily).

Lots of people on Twitter are saying 'the vet/RSPCA (etc.) will tell you to have it put down but don't listen to them'. Why? Because vets famously hate animals?
You get alot of that. People often say the RSPCA just put them down. Truth is similar to drs vets have a duty of care and will do what they can. If it's a losing battle and funds are not great they suggest putting the animal down as it's going that way anyway and your basically selling your pet up as a guinea pig for a treatment that may not prolong or cure the animal and also out yourself into a lot of debt im the meantime.

She’ll twist the narrative of any criticism of this decision - saying that people are animal haters with no heart. The ones replying to her that are egging her on to go for it are morons for encouraging this.

I think it’s kinder to think of the poor little kitten than how saintly it will make her look. And I LOVE cats 😭

What about all the other pets she's had over the years? There's definitely been guinea pigs, and rabbits, and I'm fairly sure fish. I think it's another thing she fads over, then gets bored very quickly, once she realises the work involved.

I know the last house we had in the UK, I paid £200 extra on the bond for the dog. How can she afford to move all the time, it's bloody expensive? I contemplated bringing him over, but decided it would be just far too stressful for him, as it's such a drawn out process. He's blissfully rehomed with a man who thinks the sun shines out his bum - he posts daily fb pictures of them, and you can tell the dog is totally living his best life.

I had one vet who very clearly hated women. Could barely bring himself to speak to you, nasty man. The husband had to come once, because the dog had hurt himself, and he was so upset he could hardly talk (the dog had fallen out the car boot, so husband felt super guilty) and the vet still wouldn't look or talk to me 😡

I remember she had rabbits. Did one of her rabbits not die really suddenly?

Did you know that you are un-DMable? 😂

I did not! Well now I’m outraged at all those juicy DMs I’ve been missing out on over the months 😂 Off to have a look.

What happened on the Insta Live @MarmiteExtract ?

Oh, there was a comment on Jack’s insta live with a familiar profile pic. And then not long after that, admin said they were being strict about dealing with people who were taking things off Tattle. I don’t know, I may have put 2 and 2 together and made 5. There wasn’t anything more scandalous than that (afaik)!

ETA: I *think* I’m DMable! Must keep them open for the masses who need me, Jack-style

The thing is alot of people in the UK forget how much medical care is because we don't have to pay for it. If j lived in america she would be expected to have insurance for her own healthcare as well as her pets or be able to prove she could cover the cost before anyone would touched her or the pet. Even know I worked in the sector my eyes really opened last year . Watching my neighbour was paying for her cats treatment, as I was seeing how much each visit was costing her. The treatment isn't cheap but again it wouldn't be for us if we didn't have the NHS.

Apologies if someone’s already posted this but I see she’s moved on now to tackling negative criticism on Facebook - she can’t leave it alone, can she 🙄

ETA what on earth must Hellmans be making of all this? The ‘talent’ wading in, sleeves rolled up, to call people pricks on a sponsored post?

Just catching up and HOOTING at Jack "pitying the poor souls who spend their time like this" while spending all her time responding to them and spending four hours on Tattle :ROFLMAO:

And three hours on Twitter, even though she was just ‘popping in briefly’ 😅
I know we are all attached to the number three here, but it was actually four hours, just like she has four (not three) sideboards.

How do I know? I was here for the duration, and am now behind work and WHY AM I STILL HERE???? I have a tattle problem.

By the way, she has the sweetest rental agreement of all time. She seemingly can redecorate at will (painting sheds, wallpapering dining room) AND keep pets. As someone who rented for most of her life, I was never allowed to do any of that stuff. Wonder if she butters her landlords up with burger sauce? (I'm just speculating wildly now because I know this irritates her more than asking about her Patreon)

Ok, final thoughts, then I will truly get on with work (OMG - I have actually turned into her now, someone send help).

The cognitive dissonance from someone who is willing to be a 'lioness mumma' for a kitten IF a qualified vet WERE to suggest that the quality of life of said kitten would be very poor and suggested putting it down whilst moments earlier serving up a giant mountain of cow is truly astounding.

But according to her followers she is truly the most compassionate saint who ever walked the earth.

My landlord lets me redecorate, but only because he didn't do it before I moved in and it desperately needed doing! Lime green carpets anyone? 🤢 I have blue hair so it really clashes too 😂

I'm not allowed pets though, that's a strict no no. My neighbour has just got a kitten because she was bored during lockdown 🙄 but I know she's not allowed any pets so be interested to see how that turns out 😬

However, I've just bought a house (fancy!) and I earn much less than Jack does (speculation, your honour) it's taken me six years to save up enough to get a mortgage mind you

Using a disfigured kitten in the manner she has is absolutely disgusting and makes me really angry. A deformed animal is not a photo prop, or a tool of her twisted obsession with fame. I've woke up this morning to read this and it has made me feel physically ill. Her actions, not the poor kitten. It is sickening. She is contemptible.

Nothing more to add.
