Definitely needs emphasising that the money raised will come out of the pockets of people with (probably) not very much themselves while these two people bask in the spotlight. I am sick of it.
 
Seeing LJC on IG scooping up more awards, looking beaut and having the time of her life with friends and colleagues is my antidote to twitter PhD monopoly Jack. What a way to live your life Jack. If you weren’t such an intolerable twit I’d feel sorry for you. Look at what you could have won!

On scones v. croissants, Joe Kennedy wrote a book called 'Authentocrats' about how politicians, in particular, love talking about what 'real' people like in order to try and look normal. He opens with the frankly embarrassing incident where Owen Smith MP pretended he'd never been given a cappuccino before in one of the many Italian cafes in South Wales, ignoring a very important part of Welsh heritage.

I think that fits Jack quite nicely. Real poor people eat scones and shop at Asda Shoeburyness.

I love milk roll even now as a grown up. Used to use it to make chip butties as a small child
