from Jack really stood out for me, and I’d love to know what others think.

The impression I get is that she’d been wanting to be well-known for a long time before she became “famous”. She had her blog and her regular newspaper column. I know these things aren’t the same as being in the public eye, so maybe I’m misunderstanding her intentions, but it seems like she’s always been trying to go viral one way or another.

she’s jealous of success. It’s harder to be critical of other woman because it looks more like sour grapes. Jack was offered a career on a plate but has been too bone idle to do anything about it, but is surprised she isn’t wildly successful and wealthy. The lack of effort she puts into her books says everything. She thinks as long as the recipes are cheap it doesn’t matter. Like Naydia she could have started off as one thing and increased her repertoire to something with broad appeal and increased her work chances. Instead it’s just ‘cheap’ and ‘tinned’ for a decade.

Does anyone else cook in pairs apart from the Hairy Bikers (and Fanny Craddock and her husband)? It’s not actually a thing is it. They aren’t that desperate for TV presenters they put someone tit with someone good and hope it balances out.

Why is she dressed up for a night out to sling slop in a studio. I mean I am all for making an effort, but why ruin good clothes making it smell of food. 🤷🤷🤷🤷

Simple black trousers or skirt and a nice top perfectly acceptable.
 
If you were a TV exec though and all she did was talk about how hard it was to do TV and how it caused her to crash and took a toll on her physical and mental health wouldn't you feel like it was borderline unethical to hire her.

Along with the fact that no one wants to work with someone who has all that negative energy and doesn't bother to prepare. Didn't she seriously want to make ketchup and packet noodles for the TM slot the other week?

I'm sure it's been asked before so please just link me to discussion - I couldn't find anything BUT HOW is Jack still tweeting as if she is living on the poverty line? She has a successful media career with numerous books. Is she not getting paid? Does it all go to charity? Or is the whole thing faked? So confused.
