I had a quick look back through #184 Jack Monroe's Big Book of Boak today and it's such a good'un - you've got "Jack as Bowls" trend started by BlendedSlop, the origin of "Russell Brands" from Sideboard Bob - as well as the infamous Del Monte salad and the thread's hilarious reaction to it's portion size of "serves 0" and the 4 day pickled beans. I'll stick some screenshots below for nostalgia

Me and a couple of friends created a "Fun Club" at that age. It consisted mainly of discussing the rules of "Fun Club". Though we did make some cool dens, and in those days you could scavenge empty bottles of Irn Bru from worksites and get bags of sweeties in return #thegoodolddays

Used to see frogs and tadpoles and hedgehogs and dragonflies too. Back in the day.

I have never actually listened to more than about four tremulous notes of the actual song due to valuing the contents of my stomach too much. But this time I forwarded to the end for the first time and her tiny-voiced, humble, on verge of tears closing speech is *almost* worse than the intro. Though not as long.
