I have spent the whole morning painting a wall in my lounge/kitchen with the help of my lovely (vaccinated) neighbour. First coat is done and we are taking a well earned rest but I'm so happy with it so far Fraus!

I got the paint from Lick and 100% can recommend in terms of coverage.

Best go back to hating my life/being a troll so catch you all later 😂

When my kids were younger I'd try make easy meals to make when I was working that day. Sometimes it was fish fingers and oven chips, or chicken nuggets and oven chips. But I made a pasta dish in one pot that was quick easy and a cheat. Put pasta in pan cook, before draining stick a handful of frozen peas and sweetcorn in the water and drain. Chop some bacon and dry fry with some garlic and put onto a plate. Pour tin of cheap shop brand tomato soup into the pot add a tin of chopped tomatoes and add mixed herbs. Put the bacon and garlic in and turn heat up, once it was bubbling put pasta and grated parmasan in and heat the pasta through put in a bowl and top with grated cheddar. The kids still love it as adults. I'm proud to say my daughters use that recipe and the grandkids love it. I did that in 2002 so not copying Jack

I was thinking last night, and this is purely speculation your honour but if for any reason SB has gone to live with his dad forever,

No...is it a film? Mr Lenny despairs at the amount of films I haven’t seen. Sometimes he’ll look at me and whisper “you haven’t even seen the Shawshank Redemption”, disappointment pooling his eyes...oh sorry, I turned into Jack there

I definitely need an urgent refresher and quick!!

Babe same. Mr Aquamarina is a real cinephile and doesn’t get that I’m not into films and haven’t seen most films that he considers classic.
ETA Currently on a grunk, so apologies if my post is wildly off topic.

She made orange peel salt though!

In the recipe she writes 'Line your baking tray with greaseproof or baking paper, and place the orange peel on it. Try to make sure none of it is touching, to help it dry evenly, but perhaps this is my meticulous nature more than anything else.' The photo:

She did also do an orange, turmeric and ginger juice. In the recipe, she writes 'Mrs J declared that it was very similar to a high street branded orange, ginger and turmeric shot, and I just smiled and said thankyou'. Don't all orange, ginger and turmeric juices taste similar?!
This is a tongue-activated photo, isn't it?

How rude!
I have fingernails and they don’t get dirty. Probably because I don’t go outside 🤷🏼‍♀️
@Juliasez welcome and if you want to, please tell us about when you realised Fack Monroe was not really A Good Thing
I used to think good on her for making cheap meal ideas to people who probably didn't actually cook but bunged frozen food in the oven (no offence to people who bung frozen meals in the oven, I do it too. But she was doing what Delia did with her cheat cookery book and Delia was slated for it. There was nothing new in her cheap meals. She wasn't slated being a young single mum and not a chef. I read her twitter off and on, but didn't follow her. Sometimes she came over as if she invented recipes all by herself and if anyone did something similar they stole her ideas, like she deserved recognition for doing what thousands of people did to make cheap base sauces from tinned goods. My mum made Pizza with rolled out puff pastry (roll it thin so it doesn't puff up too much) spread tomato puree on top and add the topping we liked. I wouldn't claim that as my mum's recipe I'm sure loads of folk done it as it was cheaper. Recipes come with weights or ¼ to ½tea spoon etc me saying to my kids a pinch of this or that was OK cos they seen what amount a used. If I wrote it down I'd use proper measurement. I just didn't realise until I came her how much a shyster she was. Paying for meals that are free on the Internet. As for the carry on with Jamie Oliver, she has a certain entitlement attitude.

She’s made it on the international right wing “why aren’t those poors just smarter / savvier” circuit

The Aussies seem to love those kinds of blogs. Whenever I scroll the sidebar of shame, there's always a typical Aussie mum blogger (yoga pants, ridiculously flat stomach, messy bun) talking about how she preps an entire year's worth of food in just 20 minutes for $4.

Hey, if they want to adopt Jack, go ahead. I look forward to Aussie Jack. Australian flag in profile, calling people a flamin' galah, all knowledge of Australia gained from 90s TV soaps, making fairy bread...

Nooooo! Please no! We have enough to contend with down here. She can watch all the Home and Away she wants from wherever she is now, and stay away from our pavlova (she probably calls it pav-a-lova, I digress).

ETA She'd get a kicking from Skippy if she tried her tit in my town :)

Why do her hands look so, so grubby though? Is she using some kind of filter? They look like working man's hands, how and why?! I know I've commented on their hands before I I find them baffling.... I don't think it's the RA, that gives characteristic knuckles. These just look mucky and gnarly.
I have a thing about her hands too and have decided they were previously owned.
Second-hand hands.
