I googled it and it looks like it might also be called ‘Yorkshire salad’!We did this with sliced normal onions. They lived in a special glass bowl with a sort of doiley over them
That's right, citrus notes. O.T. does anyone else think that cumin smells like bad B.O.? I do use it but sparingly.

I’ve heard people pronounce Sean Seen, but that’s usually cos they aren’t aware of its proper pronunciation. As with many Irish/ Gaelic names, saying them as you see them isn’t usually correct, so it just doesn’t work in my headSheffield incomer here 🖐 when people round here take the piss, as is their wont, they pronounce it "seen bean"
although, my southern dad does too so pfft
