But then if someone is worried about their children being safe online it would be worrying that adults could easily bypass AML procedures to open an account.

That bit I get, it was the jump then to kids being befriended by someone and trusting them more as they had a GH account that I think is pushing it.

I’m sure the accounts are used for county lines type things, which is likely why GH took action based on Jack’s claims (whether they were true or not) and I obviously know people lie about their age to prey on children, but I don’t think a GH is generally being treated as the gold standard of age proof - I mean, it’s a physical card so they can be stolen?

Why does she say her son "has agency over his own decisions"?

What is wrong with saying her son "makes his own decisions"? "Has agency over" is redundant in that sentence, it's extra words for no reason. It doesn't make if clearer, it doesn't mean anything different and it doesn't make her sound clever.
And you only really have “agency” 🤢 if you are in possession of all the facts upon which to make your decisions.

I wonder if he knows that he is fed sausages made of bollocks and eyelids for his tea.

I think it’s more about proving that GH have robust compliance procedures that must be followed if a complaint is raised.

If indeed some one reported fraud on her son's account they of course would have frozen it even if it was her using it because they have to be sure it was in fact her and notJoe blogs down the street. Why would you worry. If the bank phoned me to say my child's account had been suspended to suspicious activity and I was unaware of such I would say ok that's fine what do you need me to do. I wouldn't be angry.

Oh my gosh. Can you all imagine how it would look if Little Miss Poverty Pants was actually prosecuted for fraud and money laundering? It would be the ultimate poetic justice for all her role play fairy story nonsense.
Excuse me but don't you know she needs three pairs of poverty pants?

PS I am super impressed with Giphy providing so many helpful varieties of labia.

For me it would kind of do the opposite though. It’s such an odd jump that it sounds like a made up concern to use as a reason for reporting
I've 'known' this twitter user for years (like, I don't know them, know them, and I don't follow them for some reason but I've seen their tweets around, I have a feeling we have similar interests and probably have some mutuals in common, so they sometimes appear on my timeline in conversation with others) and I have to say, I was really relieved someone like them saw through Jack when their screenshots first appeared here, because they're decent and intelligent and definitely not a troll. While I see what you're saying, I don't think it's too odd for them to be concerned that a child's pocket money account, used for their own children, is being used by adults, because beyond anything else, it's frankly a bit creepy? I know Jack has an almost non-existent embarrassment threshold, but I don't understand why even she wouldn't cringe with shame when handing it over to a supermarket cashier. I mean, obvs we know it didn't happen, but it's such an irresponsible thing to put on social media, advising other adults that this is a good budget tactic.

I do completely believe it was a genuine concern on the users part and she communicated her concern about adults using it initially really well (though I still think her final tweet was a leap when she’d already made the point), and it is really good to see others seeing through Jack - especially with a robust and normal tweet history!

You know there has been some manner of chaos unfolding when there are over twenty pages to catch up on. A delicious read <chef's kiss>. It must be 'malicious' on her word-of-the-day calendar today, she wheeled it out four times! You can't throw us off the scent with a horrid 90% vegan quesadilla either, that doesn't even hold a candle-in-a-spray-painted-Del-Monte-tin to the eldritch horror ramen.

@ThunderClapForCapers that is the most incredible piece of furniture I have ever beheld, I'm holding a #thunderclapforthunderclapforcapers 👏

Got my court outfit, and I'm going as a massive hole. Actually the guy in the pic looks a bit like Sam McFaul. He's just destined to be a frau.❤

How dare you...she was gifted and talented don’t you know!

So, let me get this right - Jack boasted about having lied about her age in order to get herself a kid’s account (bit of a lame boast, but whatever floats your boat mate). A squiggle reports this tweet and Jack gets her account stopped because she didn’t qualify for the account because she’s a grown up. And now she’s furious because squiggle squealed on her?
