Unless smol robots guy has multiple people getting up in his niche, I'm not really sure why he's so upset about Slopbot. I don't think I've crossed a line, have I? I wouldn't say I've been obsessive about it and it's nothing to do with being angry although Jack does rile me up sometimes (I think that's the case with most of us here) it's not what fuels me. It's just a silly thing I made that now has an entire lore surrounding it because it's entertaining, it's really not that deep.

His robots are tit though, sorry mate 🤷‍♀️

So she's hiding behind that again and at the same time making huge generalisations about autistic people?
I'd love to know for example what does autistic behaviour mean?
It is a spectrum after all and everyone is different and should be treated as an individual?
Not just as a walking cluster of symptoms or behaviours!

She isn't talking on behalf of the autistic community (as if she cares) she is just using that label yet again to try and silence any criticism?

After all what do you expect she is autistic and therefore discriminated against or an easy target?

Sorry but she is just manipulative full stop also i don't know any autistic people who go around broadcasting that fact (thats a red flag to me).
Also using that as an excuse for shoddy or irresponsible behaviour?

Its deplorable jack its not a get out of jail free card nor is it used as such (only by you jack) and its doing a huge disservice to all the autistic men and women who have with support blossomed and become very much valued members of society.
Sorry for the long post but she really makes me angry with this bullshit.

There isn’t really any small robot influence, if there is it was literally the idea of a robot.
I thought his tweet referred to the excellent work of @Alansbigplate and the reface gifs when I read it.
Also he is jealous as his robots are about as cool as the forever friends bears on a birthday card.

Hell yes to all of this! And what you said about Slopbot being like a robot Bowie, it’s true, and I think both those comments should be on the sleeve of the “Fact or Figtion“ book. I think you’re right, in that tweet he actually was mithering on about things he knows duck all about!

I never give false praise, I genuinely do think the world of everyone here. So @traumatised sideboard of course you’ve not crossed a line. It really bothers me that you might have even thought that for a second.
Between that, and seeing people upset over her appropriation of autism, and SO MANY other things over the past few days, I’m feeling so defensive of our cabal of faceless gits!
Like a few people have said today, these threads are a treasure, and I feel so lucky to have found this place. I wish I could explain this more clearly, but basically hugs to everyone (unless you don’t like them) and evil stares and hisses to Jack Monroe!

@Orphan_Black yes, anti-vegans attack me unprompted, or veganism in general, then when I calmly try to defend myself they accuse me of moralising/preaching/militancy/self-righteousness blah blah. Now, I have learnt to immediately just point out what they are doing is attacking me, "please don't harass me for my choices, I don't talk about anyone else that way".

That salad bag pesto from the squiggle is the first pic on here that has literally made me retch.

I am so angered at Jack continually lying about what vegans are angry with her about.

Anybody remember stupid dogbot from the Ford Fiesta adverts around 2007? Dogbot was a robot, too. Perhaps Ford should go after him (as well as Satoshi Tajiri).

He makes me imagine the kid who would draw cartoons of kittens to make the girls go SQUEEEEEEEE but never actually pulled whilst everybody else me sat at the back of class during lessons and drew stuff when they should have been working, only to have kitten cartoon boy complain when somebody saw them that his niche was being crept up into.

Small robot guy has been seen on other occasions by Fraus to be a bit of a snarky prick on twitter, but no receipts. Although let’s face it, he draws tit robots like that is the whole deal.
SLPBT is proving to be something of a robot David Bowie, has had several “characters” and image changes, invented a musical genre and generated fine dining, regular slop and Mel Donte recipes as well as being gender less and psychic. Like Banksy SLPBT doesn’t do merch it’s about the art not the cash money. Plus Slopbot has a square head like all decent robots.

"I know. I talk about it a lot" and therein lies the problem. Veganism is not expensive. You spread damaging, misleading ideas about veganism then want praise from us.

...And even if veganism was the most expensive way of eating in the world, Jack could still afford to do it. No need to find a balance when you're rich.

It's funny how just a duck tweets before, she was saying she KNOWS veganism is cheap and she has therefore, right from the beginning, always created and promoted highly plant-based meals.
