Exactly this you are spot on!
She comes across as very ignorant and self centred always making excuses and justifications?
Its as if she wants the whole world to enable her in her delusions (by giving them air time and by association credibility?)
Its really very damaging to vegans she is in a way both misinterpreting and misrepresenting them, and really in a horrible sense dragging them down to her level?
She is rapidly becoming toxic and its spreading no wonder they are furious (as you rightly said) she is making a mockery of everything they stand for.
Really i'm starting to realise that in Jacks world nothing is sacred but everything is profane?
I never thought that i would be digusted by her (apart from the wheelchair emoji) but i really am starting to understand how vegans must feel having her represent them?
Its regression its undoing years of hard work its sneering its disrespectful?
She basically is sending out the message that veganism nah mate you can take it or leave it?
Its not serious or a valid choice just do what you feel like?
Forget standards or welfare nah who needs them, by positioning herself on top of the food chain she is encouraging others to do the same a kind of darwinian survival of the fittest mentality, i'm alright Jack ?
She can do as she please's so why can't everyone else a kind of food anarchy?
Except that jack is, as i said at the top of the hierarchy (looking down below) with beady predator eyes surveying her next meal/victim?
This is practically medieval (in the dark ages) in its attitude and really if i was a vegan i wouldn't be just angry i'd be horrified.

I can’t be sure but I think it might have been sent out to people to showcase the meatballs by people far less problematic than Jack.
This was posted on 31 jan by a vegan insta I follow and could be what JM was filming for?

Her mother left the NHS due to work related health issues. Nice lump sum and pension for life. (I have family member that has done it) Yet they could only afford to rent a flat unfit for habitation

I think the whole family, from grandfather, to father, to daughter, are money and status focussed.

You’re so right MancBee. There’s currently a house in London that’s only 6 foot wide and on the market for £950,000!! If that’s suitable for human habitation, exactly how small was her parent’s flat?!
She may not have always had ideal accommodation but the extent to which she lies about it is disgusting - she has never ‘lived rough’ - unless she equates ‘living rough’ with not living on Millionaire’s Row. If she had lived in accommodation damp enough to give her severe rheumatoid arthritis social services would have been involved because her son’s health would have been at serious risk.
She lies like a child - she has no concept of reality. I’m so conflicted about people like Jack and Jameela Jamil - part of me thinks that compulsively telling such obvious lies is a sign of mental illness and I should feel a little sorry for them, the other part of me wants people like Jack and her ilk to get their comeuppance

I suspect LM didn't even "provide" the quote - it's a copy and paste of one (or more) of the replies to the viggles. Has anyone ever seen "Josh Layton" and aspiring journalist JM in the same room?

If she was only lying to her family and friends, and they just rolled their eyes and ignored her, it would be one thing.

But, and it's a big but, she is lying to a wider audience to obtain money by deception. Journalists are enabling her by not investigating her back story adequately. This in turn has been enabled by her contacts in Parliament, the media, charities, celebrity friends and chef partner.

Because of her connections, journalists don't see the need to verify her statements and accept them at face value. After all, if she has the backing of MP's, charities and celebrities, et al, what possible reason do they have to doubt her?

Let's not sugar coat it, she is defrauding people out of money, some of whome can barely afford it. Those enabling this are equally culpable.

What she is doing is criminal, and one way or another, one day she will pay dearly for that criminal behaviour.

And HMRC will get her if she is in any way not being transparent with her finances.

Yeah, you’ve summed it up beautifully. The fact that she was actively trying to make money out of the FSM debacle made her worse than Chartwells in my opinion

This is the bit that baffles me, I do a lot of work in China, we often discuss the repression and censorship of media over there.
Then I look at our media and see the lack of journalistic research in so many articles and really wonder where we are headed. There really is a lack of ‘digging a little deeper’ than what certain people are saying, stories told are believed at face value with zero interrogation of the facts being presented! Monroe is really benefitting from this and it is infuriating.

Our newspapers are filled with cheap editorial about Z list celebs, and polarised opinion pieces. Our media isn’t censored by the Government but seems to be being censored by the journalists, who can’t be bothered to do some basic fact finding.

Is it society or is it journalism that is making us less critical in our thinking? (Obviously not the cabal). Do people just not want to think anymore? Everything seems to be presented simply and as the truth. Her story changes all the time and the poverty is at least 10 years old, how are people still falling for this?

* I hope this makes sense, someone smarter than me will possibly be able to articulate my thoughts better. But this also comes off the back of the Candice V Roshell tv programme, where despite Candice never being in the run for the presenting job, loads of folks were up in arms because Roshell ‘stole it‘ from her because that is what Candice claimed!

** The defrauding vulnerable people for money is utterly scandalous and so very very wrong.

If she was given Rheumatoid Arthritis from being a bit chilly, she'd have been on the list for a Nobel Prize for Medicine, as she'd have discovered the cure for autoimmune diseases that are currently being treated by incredibly, inconceivably expensive genetically engineered Biologics. And probably, as they are also due to malfunctions in the immune system, bleeping cured cancer in the process.

"So it is/so I am" was one of the first things to go from my vocab when I LEFT home but I did say it quite a bit 😂 "I'm away to the shop, so I am" - it feels fairly natural to say it when I'm home or if I hear it, but when I think about it's really strange and redundant.

Irish Jack is my least favourite Jack. She's cancelled for not knowing how to make soup.
 
The thing about Jack and the Metro is that she's an actual paid contributor to them. It's almost unheard of for a paper to negatively cover their own writers, so having them of all people reporting it is pretty good, in a way - I imagine the piece could have been a lot more damning were it not the case that they commissioned a Letdown Larder series last year.
