It’s really extraordinary how she behaves. She nicks someone else’s story in plain sight, and then what do we get? MEEEEEE and my “investigative team” (😂😂😂 - the grandiosity!), MY £20 shop and how I do budget shopping better, lots of important people consult MEEE but it’s too secret (🙄 but of course), this is MY STORY (stamps foot), give MEEEE a commission (is she not aware that others have got there first?), and of course yet another airing of the terrible “Potatoes”, which is completely irrelevant to the issue at hand.
She’s not only coat-tailing again, but making it all about her, again. Jack: it is not about you. It really really isn’t.

I think she has forgotten that the UK has not been a Christian country solely for quite some time now. I thought she was woke?!

I actually have alot to do with Jehovah's witnesses. Obviously I am not one but I studied with them. She's is not what they would perceive a good god fearing Christian. She's is too self involved.

Ps my studying was more because I was interested in what they had to say, so I let them talk to me for two years. I never went to a meeting. In the end they gave up trying to convert me. 🤣

Why the duck would she need to travel to interview people? The book was due by end of September - a the interviewing should have been done long before that. And weren't there like 20 ring binders full of stuff people had DMd her.

You know the old trope about having the confidence of a mediocre white man? I wish that but with Jack’s sheer incredulity that she might just be insufferable.

When film crews, producers, publishers, researchers, politicians and romantic partners all tell you that you’re a difficult person it’s sometimes a moment of personal growth to listen and consider changing either your modus operandi or your role. Not Jack, though. She’s just treated badly because she’s a wOrKiNg ClAsS uRcHiN who doesn’t belong because of her half a woodwork GCSE.

I have no cooking skills, no knowledge of nutrition, don’t care what real children actually want to eat and I can’t price things up to save my life, but duck it, giz a job.

ive been homeschooling an unwilling secondary school child who has been doing really well but hit a wall today. I’m in a bad mood.
 
What would the government have to gain from hiding Jack Monroe's advisory role on various unspecified projects? Also, if she's done so much behind the scenes work, have any of them been successful?

And where are the beige recipe cards?!

they are baptists if I remember correctly?

many mum is a Christian and she would be more offended by taking the Lord’s name in vain than the F word.
I try not to swear in front of my mum at all but as a result of this upbringing I never go for the “oh my God/Jesus” references in general.
