I’m a couple of minutes in to the new pod but it starts off her addressing the critism re: the live shows. Honestly she hasn’t really said anything new apart from that she hasn’t addressed it publicly online because she didn’t even think she was going ahead with them solo as she questioned herself and kept going back and forth so she wanted it to be as clean as possible. That has probably backfired now but I do get it. She addressed the ick episode and how she couldn’t be funny as she was in such a bad space mentally and she was trying her hardest but couldn’t hide her sadness. Still listening but I can’t help but feel for her, she’s definitely still reading here and I know I would be the exact same but Linds pls look after yourself! ❤️ There’s no way you can constantly read all this stuff and be ok. Create the content that makes you happy and the rest will fall into place!!!

At the risk of sounding like a cold bitch, I have a family member who does this exact same manipulation tactic and so for me it strikes a nerve. You can’t weaponise mental health as an excuse to get yourself out of any and all accountability.
I really felt for her the first few times she said she was feeling low and couldn’t keep up with her work, but now it’s like every time she receives ANY criticism she uses her “Well, I was in a bad place” token.

If your mental health is in that much of a low place, please take a break. Your health is the number one priority.
But if you’re still trying to make “easy money” off the backs of mostly young girls who seem to look up to you, don’t just use your mental health as an excuse to wriggle out of every bad scenario you create.
 
There’s no excuse to why every person who’s gotten a refund so far has been shorted at least €10 like even if they claimed they couldn’t give back the service charge where is that other €8 going?? I feel like it’s Ls attitude of oh it’s so little money people won’t care or chase us on it but if every person who got a ticket is now only getting 2/3s of their money back she’s still making a profit???

She’s not making a profit though - tickets.ie are holding the visa charges. I’m no L fan but this has been discussed at length.
also L didn’t sell the tickets herself, she’s working with bookers and third parties, I’d presume she only gets paid after the shows.

actually as a freelance artist like L and J were (because they didn't have an agent) they would have had to pay a deposit to book the venue, so I'm presuming she'll take a massive financial hit if she has to refund everyone, probably why she doesn't want to make a public announcement about it

This 100000%. L has never taken accountability for anything. Remember at the start of this she released a pod full of excuses like being a young mum and growing up Christian etc etc. This must be a hard time for her but she has made it worse for herself, the Instagram post, the lack of communication. These are her actions yet she has not taken any accountability! It’s just excuse after excuse. If her mental health is so bad and is so effected by online critique she needs to move on from being a podcaster/influencer because clearly she is not mentally capable. It’s ok to admit you are struggling with your mental health but it is also your responsibility to seek help (she refuses to go to therapy?) and do something about it. I’m sick of that excuse because she knows well the knee jerk reaction is that people will step away and let her off. Total manipulation

Nah not if they’re working with bookers/promoters. They’d upfront the cost. If she was putting on the shows herself then yes but that’s the whole point with working with people like Aiken MCD etc

Just because people critique L doesn’t mean that they’re applauding J - J hasn’t anything to do with it galz anymore so it’s irrelevant to bring her up. Anyway this forum in its beginning and right up til J retaliated against Ls statement was soooooo anti J. So what if people like her now?
 
I wasnt up for splitting up the threads originally but this keeps happening where Ls minions come here and defend her. Like your on a gossip forum and policing the discord is against tattle rules. Saying that people should be allowed to bitch about J as well! Lets keep it fair 😂 lets give people the space the bitch about either of them haha
