What I really want to happen is to love J's pod and L's pod independently.
Initially I was stanning over J and her pod and vlogs but the cannibal pod was too much for me 🤢 and the Mexico vlog was boring.
I prefer her so much when she talks and shares ideas, insights and thoughts.

L is unrecognisable with all her showing off of tacky designer gear and unwillingness to share her life.
I did enjoy the Peaches pod and this mornings was okay but I wouldn't be paying for it so will unsubscribe if the quality doesn't improve.

Still rooting for them both though.
 
All J did in Mexico was stay in hotels and go to the pool/beaches, read, tan, eat hotel food and take bikini pics. It seemed like such a waste, I don't understand this, given the interests she claims to have. I would have absolutely prioritised learning/seeing stuff about the Mayan culture and modern Mexican society, meeting locals etc. She said they wished they had more time so they could, but they chose to stay in a lame resort instead for a few days. That was the priority.

L and J are suuuuper basic when it comes to travel. I expect it from L, but not so much J given the interests she claims to have.

I know the resort was because Evan was working a wedding there. I think the second place was an island so maybe they did some stuff like that there

Seems like they just chilled on the island resort. She said she wished they had more time so they could travel around, so it obvo wasn't a priority. The priority was the island resort. She also said they were gonna go to Tulum....which says it all really!!

Why are you mad about what someone else chose to do on their holiday 😂 didn’t they have like 5/6 days to themselves? I wouldn’t be arsed spending hours on trains buses if I had that little time tbh.
 
I liked the vlog cause I just like to listen to YouTube in the background, I don’t pay too close attention. I do prefer her Irish ones though! Sometimes people on here can be a bit absolute in their views imo - not every ep of xgalz is gonna be your fave and not every ep of Red room will either… just like watching a TV show/any other podcast.

I do think that people on here (myself included) often project their distaste for Lindsay and her actions onto her content so it probably comes across a little more cutting than any J critique.

Somebody was asking about the vlog. I'm just giving my opinion, which was that it seemed like a massive waste to go to from Ireland to Mexico and stay in resorts. She couldn't possibly be that interested in the stuff she claims to be if she just stayed in an island resort for their extra time. There are tons of ruins and interesting things to do which are very accessible, they just chose not to do them. Would have been so cool to see some of it on the vlog. It seems her interests are quite superficial and surface level internet 'deep dives'.

It’s not like she went on holiday with the sole purpose to create a vlog for Red room content tho? Saying her views are superficial because she chose to chill while on holidays is such a reach lol
 
I do agree that the sound in the Mexico vlog was shocking. I was watching it on my TV yesterday and had to turn it up at full volume at some points and then turn it all the way back down in the next clip. However, I don’t blame Jenny for just chilling out on her holiday. It’s been a chaotic few months for her and relaxing is needed to prevent burn out. Especially with starting her new podcast and the fallout with Lindsay, if she wants to eat nice food and tan by a pool for a week or two, so be it!

Ah yeah, I know she didn't go away for the sole purpose of creating a vlog for Red Room. I do think that her interests are superficial if she travelled all the way to an unbelievably fascinating country like Mexico and stayed in a resort the whole time. That is my opinion on the matter, which I am expressing on a gossip site. Your opinion can differ.

Yeah, i'm typically quick an 'active' holiday person, be it local culture, skiing, snorkelling.. i'm usually all go. This year for my first holiday since the pandemic, i went to Spain, chilled in the sun and drank nice cocktails while eating nice food. I needed the total relaxation of doing nothing. I daresay Jenny did too!
 
The FOMO and curiosity would have killed me (and most people I know) no matter how exhausted, especially after a few days in that Americanised resort. Plus it seems like that is what she does for every trip anyway. I remember hearing her and L talk about how they do nothing when they travel. Could have just even spent a few hours of one day doing something interesting and not very taxing, but the interest isn't that strong I guess.

She can do what she wants and I can give my opinion on it on this site, which it what everybody does in regards to L.

It's just mad to me that J is the 'do nothing' type when travelling, even before all the drama. Doesn't surprise me about L though (zzzzzzzz).

I think if you claim to have certain interests and then do fuck all when travelling (before the drama also), your interests are pretty superficial and confined to internet rabbitholes. Travel is the best, genuine and most fun way to learn. That is just my opinion. On a gossip site.
