Im irrationally angry so i said ill come here and get it out 😂 so L is completely ignoring all the questions about refunds and havent made the announcement publicly, yet J has apologised and is also now trying to clarify why are people not getting full refunds. Like wtf, J heard about an issue and within 5 min its been adressed, L had months and what she cant be bothered??!! How can anyone support her after this is mind blowing to me 🤯

It’s hard to see but is that the same ring she’s wearing in her promo insta post? Agree it would be plastered everywhere if she was engaged

It's sad to see L destroying her own fan base by ignoring the refund issue. Even if it was going to cost L to process refunds its still worth it to avoid losing even more followers

Absolutely, someone asked her to address the issue publicly and her argument is that the email is public?! Like wtf, oh sure she cant put it on her instagram cause it wouldnt go with her rebranding #priorities

she just doesn’t have a clue about customer service or crisis PR. As someone said, it’s always best to lose in the short game to secure long term paying customers
 
In fairness, J is only restating what's known, or what any punter could find out.

There could be other factors at play between L and the promoter that are still being worked out and that L has to nail down first before she feels comfortable issuing a blanket statement or instructions that will satisfy everybody.

( All the same, you'd know J worked in retail in school/college! If somebody is upset, she'll tell them s-om-e-th-ing useful, and be consistent about it, not bury her head in the sand.)
 
Absolutely but at least she’s saying something? L hasn’t even bothered finding out for herself it seems, that’s the card payments can’t/aren’t being refunded - just a bizarre stance to take. Just comes across like she couldn’t give a shit.

I agree there could be stuff she needs to figure out but the shows are in a few weeks, sort it out like?! Also didn’t someone find a show listing for October on here? When does she plan on selling those tickets?

I wonder if her divorce has finally come through so she can get married? Does anyone know?
 
She’d always said that she couldn’t get the divorce to go through because her ex wouldn’t sign any of the papers and wouldn’t show up for court dates etc but now with how unbelievably lazy she’s been with the podcast, the liveshows and refunds etc I wonder did she just make one attempt and getting the divorce sorted then gave up? Like surely there are ways around an uncooperative partner legally?
 
If one party doesn't agree/cooperate with divorce proceedings, the court can still grant it; goes down as uncontested. Probably not as straight forward as a "normal" divorce, but it can happen if you keep with proceedings and push for it.

Judging by how L seems to self sabotage when the going gets tough, she's left it on the back burner for years.

Can't understand why L didn't do this properly, issue a statement re. the gigs, and behave professionally. Can she not wrap her head around the fact that plenty of ticket buyers aren't patrons/don't have access to discord? I'd say she's trying to be extremely cute, and not alert fair weather fans of the pod to refunds.

She has been asked many times to address the refunds publicly and not behind a paywall. So one must assume she is very aware of what she is doing, its calculated. The shows are going to be a disaster, no way she will have anywhere nearly enough people interested in her solo gig.
