😂 some rando on twitter says something nasty and we are supposed to clutch our pearls while big favourites of Jen, Netanyahu, Gallant, Snotrich (🤣) Gvir and many many other senior members of Israeli government have described the entire population of Palestine as animals and called for their total erasure, began to enact these statements via their bloodthirsty army who do TikToks about it so we know it’s happened, other parts of the population, who’ve been armed by their government are killing Palestinians, stealing or burning down their homes, while the army watch on or help out and that’s something worthy of support 🥴

I think you’re conflating people posting her stuff on here with details of the genocide with us supporting her. I don’t particularly like Owen Jones and wouldn’t call myself a supporter of his but it’s highly likely I’ve posted some of his tweets which provide us with information on the genocide. Are you a supporter of Jake Wallis Simon’s?

She’s a prevalent poster on Gaza, the fact she said something disgusting doesn’t detract from her informative posts on Gaza. Like she’s a twitter bird not an Israeli Ambassador like Tzipi Hotovely who said on national media that every school, every mosque, every second house in Gaza is a legitimate target. Or <insert any number of the 100s of comments made by senior Israeli politicians or military> the government you whole heartedly support! I think you’re reaching Jen and an anonymous twitter poster doesn’t really have the same clout as say a government of a country!

Nicole is irrelevant. She retweeted the post I'm highlighting as did many others. And so what if she if she's happy that Trump is a friend to Israel, people are allowed to hold opinions.

I do follow Jake W S as well as 2500 other people including * gasp * Palestinians.

Here's how Clinton official Robert Malley put it: "Israel rejected the unprecedented two-state solution put to them by the Palestinians from Camp David onward, including the following provisions: a state of Israel incorporating some land captured in 1967 and including a very large majority of its settlers; the largest Jewish Jerusalem in the city’s history; preservation of Israel’s demographic balance between Jews and Arabs; security guaranteed by a US-led international presence."

I get it, it's hard with all the goading, we're all terrorist sympathisers, Bin Laden's right up our street, we secretly want to gas the Jews, Jen's far more intelligent than all of us etc etc. But all she does is stink up the thread with her ignorance and bigotry, when there's kids being killed every day she somehow manages to make it all about herself and it's hard to stomach - but actually very on point so far as the pathetic pro-genocide ~movement~ goes.

He lies because nobody calls him out if he was made to look like a liar and a fool he would drop it.
That is the main issue aka walking on eggshells and covering for a rogue state because they will ruin the career of anyone that crosses them by hook or by crook.

That's the beauty of dehumanisation. It becomes an entirely separate thought - if it was Americans, Israelis, Australians, etc. under the same conditions that would be unacceptable, because they're innocent, they only ever want to defend themselves!
It's why I always come back to comparison to the IRA, ANC, or other groups who engaged in terrorism in their fight for rights. Why is it that those terrorists can be seen as more nuanced and with humanity, yet Arab or Muslim terrorists are simply evil and out to get all Christians/Jews/Western values?

When you view the victims as an inherent threat to yourself and less than human, their suffering and death becomes entirely separate from human empathy.

Pretty sure Nicole has never said she wants to gas Palestinians or anything that would be considered a hate crime.

That one quote from Ben Ami is often taken wildly out of context. Here is a longer interview on the subject in which he spells out that it became clear during the Camp David talks that Arafat had no interest in a peace deal and that, ultimately, Palestine wanted Israel to not exist far more than they want their own state which, of course, is still true today.
