What’s your point about Iraq, Libya, Iran and Afghanistan got to do with the genocide by Israel in Gaza or the ethnic cleansing and apartheid in the rest of Palestine. You answered your own point here. Abuse of young women is a world wide problem but when Israel claims to be a democracy with Western values then harbours convicted paedos it’s hardly a good look for THAT regime is it???

There are many western nations that fail to deal with abuse properly. There are also many islamic countries where that abuse is perfectly legal

Why am I not surprised at finding this out about their colonising from back in the day?? And of course, just gobsmacked at the level of feminism shown by israel in enacting mass sterilisation of women who are just 'not the right type' according to them.

Not sure what your point is Jen, you were ok listing the faults/abuse/human rights violations of a group of Middle Eastern countries.

Well by your logic 'these things happen in other countries too'

And as I’ve pointed out it’s perfectly legal in Israel, that’s not failing to deal with abuse properly, that’s policy. For example, I’m not sure if you remember, just a few months back, the gang rape of a Palestinian detainee, the protesters including government ministers storming into the prison where they thought the perpetrators of that rape were being held, they then realised they were at another facility and headed there to protest their release, they stopped the court hearing, Smotrich said everything is ok to do to detainees including rape, the celebration of one of the perpetrators on national TV, the parliamentary debate about wether it should be legal to rape Palestinian detainees. I mean when this sort of thing is going on in the heart of the “legal system” by those responsible for “guarding” detainees without any recourse it’s not a failure to deal with something properly it’s a green light for abuse. That’s just one example. It’s a massive problem in Israeli society among their own. I know save the children are antisemitic terrorist sympathisers but I’ve not got an independent social media influencer to help me out here so I’ll just have to go with STC
