Can someone clear up the housing timeline for me? I've been side-eyeing Ioan a little for moving out of his marital home and straight in with B, I don't feel that was in the girls' best interest. But did he actually have the apartment previous to getting with Bianca? If so that changes things for me. I thought he was in the garage for months before getting a place with B, but all this comes from my imperfect memory so I'd love to be corrected!

I understand Alice saying so many different things muddies the waters considerably. I do agree he'd have been gone a lot longer if not for the pandemic.

Pretty sure he moved into his own apartment in December 2020.

He presumably lived in the garage/sofa from august 2020 till january 2021 (note that a Alice friend said he stayed over Xmas in a hotel but Alice dragged him back), moved out at the end of january 2021, first to friends, then in a hotel (that rents out temporary apartments), with very little stuff it appears, then he went in August to France for a series, came back at the end of november with Bianca and they moved into a new apartment. Early january he picked up all his stuff from the marital home into his new apartment.

I agree totally with what you say. Alice is just carrying on with her abusive and evil behaviour. Even though there is a TRO it makes no difference she breaches it at will, with no repercussions. Grrrrrr

Cheers, glad I got it wrong! Have to say then, a massive duck you to Alice cos that was the one thing I feel Ioan didn't get right and it turns out I just didn't have all the facts. The man is kind of a saint for putting up with her the way he did, he's retained so much dignity and grace in this horrible situation.

We know he was definitely in the spare room in August. But I think he went straight there earlier in March when she made him come home. I would have done that if my husband behaved like that (he wouldn’t). I am also speculating that pre first lockdown he had told her it wasn’t working and had moved into the spare room.

I‘d say the Russia holiday was make or break. It broke and he started making plans. That would include telling her they needed to split.

actually she tweeted during lockdown that she and Ioan were in bed and he was pawing her every few minutes to show her funny videos and then he fell asleep (something like that)

although she also tweeted at least twice that one slept in the spare room after he went to bed and she stayed up longer drinking (and mad tweeting, she was so crazy on twitter during lockdown). so make of that what you want.

She thought she could win him around, she thought she was going to France to see him with the girls (he didn’t invite her) because, well, Bianca Plus saving face of course.

I wonder if we will ever hear his side of the story? He is quite a classy guy, I would imagine if he did speak up, it would be done in a non-sensationalist way.

I also wonder if he caught up with Piers recently in London ?

The negativity about him on AE's instagram was just relentless for years. It makes me really sad to read it. Although it was dressed up as jokes, it was always always at IG's expense. I don't think there's a photo on there which doesn't contain some kind of insidious jab at him. But I did notice it especially in the Moscow pictures.

From the comparisons she made to actors who had relationships to keep appearances, saying he had ruined his career and had thrown away any chance of an award from the queen because he had left her, and that audiences had only accepted him in a controversial role like Liar because he was a family man, I read it as her wanting him to give up his place and move into the garage for good. That way she got to keep the house, the coercive control, her meal ticket, and her Instagram fallacy, perhaps she would have let a Bianca move in one day

He went back to make her stop and since he was leaving for France there was no harm in staying in the garage until he left. Him moving into the garage and being that close to her craziness again just strengthened his resolve to make the permanent move.
She probably thought she had reeled him in again, but he used the opportunity to finalise his plans by staying in the garage without her harassing everyone. O the irony.

nah, he left for good half a year before France. He stayed in a 4k per month temporary apartment (and Alice moaned about the costs via Deb & Lin)

btw since we are at that: Alice mentioned that his apartment was twice as expensive as their mortgage, so they only pay 25k mortgage per year? (she claimed her interviews were worth their yearly mortgage, so that checks out imo, maybe a bit more) - I somehow doubt that the mortgage is nearly paid up as she claims.
