Not to sound too harsh, but I wouldn’t exactly say his career was thriving and he was an A-lister before all of this. To be honest, I had never heard of him or Alice before all of this and have never seen them in any movie, and if I did, I certainly don’t recall. But I agree, now he will forever been known for his messy divorce and I can imagine that producers don’t want him now purely because they and the movie or series will be associated with domestic and online abuse.

There is a lot of stupid going around in the world right now but this is at the top of the list. The poor parents. Thank God his Mother isn't hear to see this. I hate it when people say that but the embarrassment her daughter would be causing her during this divorce on top of seeing the stupid her son spews daily. Dear Lord.

Interesting that this was teeny Tony twit's response to that same transcript that someone tweeted back in December.

So which is it? Is he defending this behavior, or denying the transcript is true and factual?
He contradicts himself almost as much as his sis.
Either way, there's too much chlorine in this gene pool me thinks.

Tesco makes them for sure! Maybe others too. Sourdough has been increasingly popular/ available - perhaps in last 5 years, maybe more (although it’s not real sourdough in many supermarkets but a mix of wild and commercial yeast… but I regress :))

F words to mother and father and them to him HUNDREDS OF TIMES AS A YOUNG CHILD?!?! (Sorry for doing an Alice with capitals).. hundreds of times is probably an exaggeration, but as a "young child" interesting if true… not a teenager even? But even as a teenager… f words to parent and from them… are we getting the insight into what the Evans parents were like?

Is the dog really called Bubba Bear? I cringe every time I read that name.

Alice is once again giving a masterclass in how not to handle a break up. I know many of us will have been through something similar, and maybe not always made the best decisions in hindsight. But with her, the passing of time doesn't seem to have helped take the sting out of the situation, she's still focused on what is best for her and for her only.

I just cannot see an endpoint to this.
 
I’ve never heard a F word out of my kids mouths and they have never sworn at me. I’m not mother of the year and my kids are no angels. It’s not normal or ok for kids to swear at their parents and vis versa at least in my experience. Evans clan seem to have utter lack of respect and common decency.

Rather surprisingly neither have I. Although my now 15 year old thought she could get around it by saying ship instead of tit one time when she was 6. I mean I was impressed by her ingenuity.

Oh god I bet you’re right. That poor kid. Being taught all the wrong things and all the wrong ways to be in the world. Trapped in a suffocating situation with only her mother (unless she is at school, but then she’s surrounded by the ultra-rich and getting a skewed view of the world from that too). I hate that they have no family around them. I wish they’d all move back to the UK.
 
Ella is a teenager. Teenagers are pretty vile most of the time, hormones raging, and changes to the body, and that’s without having a mother like Alice.

She is still a child, going through the challenge of managing her ridiculous mother and also missing her father and having to deal with the humiliation of moving schools etc

I dare any one of us to say we were great teenagers who caused no trouble. Any one point all of us were crappy teenagers. I was awful.

I have a friend who is estranged from the children post divorce. This friend will see one out of the four, the others are similar ages to Ioan’s children but don’t visit because they have admitted they are scared of hurting the other parent or getting on the wrong side of them.

I feel Ella may be in the same place. Fear of putting a foot wrong with Alice. Fear of the interrogation when she gets home. Fear of the drama. And that saddens me. She is still a child.

Isn’t the issue with this fight the fact that it was a child chastising her mother for being drunk on her birthday. During the day for no good reason. That’s not normal or healthy. Even if a family dynamic allows for swearing and fighting, which it shouldn’t, a child having to ask a parent to stop drinking is all kinds of fucked up.

Alice couldn’t put her daughter first for one day on her birthday. She had to drink and wallow and fight and threaten.
 
“You owe me $500” is not something any kid says to their parents. Wealthy or not, parents don’t give hundreds of dollars to their kids like that. Kids also don’t get to click their fingers and demand their fathers roll up and play chauffeur while refusing to have a relationship with them. It’s pretty obvious that big Es attitude is far from healthy. I don’t think it’s typical behaviour by a long way.

Yes, M&S do them.

Sourdough is everywhere in the UK now.

I am not keen on the bread but the crumpets are nice (y)

I had forgotten about Ella and the $500, that must have been like a punch in the guts to Ioan :cry:
