I'm O- and I don't donate nearly as much as I should. When I went in for an operation in 2019 (and discovered Alice during my recuperation), the hospital got very excited when they realised my blood type.

I have never been on a cruise before, been turned off by those massive ships with water slides and the thought of Legionaries Disease or Rotavirus. But my husband has booked on a Seabourn small ship cruise and I wondered if anyone here had ever been on one? My husband insists I will enjoy it and it won't be anything like The Love Boat.

We have cruised lots from the UK but never Seabourn, it's much too expensive!!

Very luxurious ♥

You will have a wonderful time

All credit to Ioan actually. He’s just a normal guy, not a saint, but to remain calm and not be provoked to knee jerk react to her many misdemeanours, is a sign of strength in my book. He has played the long game, although I expect even he didn’t expect it to be this prolonged, and he will be the eventual winner. That is killing her, after all this, he emerges battered and bruised, and lighter in funds, but he has won, he escaped her tyranny. He has his dignity, Bianca, loving parents and siblings, loads of friends, a steady career, and the resumption of a loving relationship with his girls. Alice has one family member speaking to her, sketchy friends, a million dolls heads, a lot of clutter, the scramble to find a new home, no career, a much diminished lifestyle, a ruined reputation and the cherry on the cake, a restraining order. Smartest person in the room. Dumbest person in California.

She has admitted taking a number of prescription pills. She CAN’T donate blood. Not to mention the amounts of alcohol.
I wondered if she could sell plasma for some quick cash, but it looks like that's out, for obvious reasons.

Fun fact: I once had a neighbor who regularly sold plasma so her family could afford satellite TV.

Woman who has to face for the first time in her life anything:

maybe I'm out of touch, but....how can you find this cool?!

Fibro doesn’t make you face anything apart from your mortality and the pillow in which you’ve buried your face in order to try to find *some* comfort. It lays waste to planning - on a good day, you can maybe have something approaching ‘normal’, but when it’s bad (especially if you have CFS on top of it which I do (diagnosed) and Malice claims to have (diagnosed by Google) you’re contorted into a Rubik’s cube of pain, unable to lift your head, wondering how to hell you’re going to get to the bathroom before your bladder gives out, every movement an eternity of pain.
I’m in remission at present, which is *incredibly* welcome, from both CFS/Fibro. But I worry that my recent spate of burning the candle at both ends means that I’ll suddenly be poleaxed by a resurgence of these conditions. Malice doesn’t have them. She doesn’t have them because she seems to revel in them. If she had them she’d be cursing the prospect of a life partially or wholly stuck in bed.
-And breastfeeding a five year old is utterly gross. Kids go through phases of development and maturation. If you continue to infantalise them by breastfeeding them beyond an appropriate duration (e.g. not only when their milk teeth are in, but they’re potty-trained and able to speak full sentences) you’re creating a mountain of developmental problems for yourself and them, from the emotional to the habitual. The woman cited is acting in her own interests, not that of the child’s.

Before rates increased the real estate market here was insane. We looked at a ton of houses and every single one had a rent back clause. Many also went with buyers willing to waive inspections. As a buyer you had no negotiating power and prices were insane. They would have gotten a lot more if mAlice had gotten off her arse and put the house up back then. Now things aren't moving as quickly and buyers have a lot more negotiating power.
It’s my impression that American houses aren’t typically built to last - is that correct? I mean, my house was built in 1783 and has survived two world wars and any number of Tory governments; but from what I’ve seen (admittedly, not that much!) on programmes like ‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’ is that wooden siding is put up and stapled to a thin wood frame, and few bricks are involved. Is that generally the case?

its actually pretty common to settle minutes before a hearing in front of the court house

Absolutely correct.

I settled with someone in front of the courtroom doors during a break. Once the judge stated that any negative ruling could affect your credit score and therefore ability to mortgage a house, rent an apartment, etc.? The person beelined to me and said "tell me you want to make this go away."

True story. And I only took the person to court to pay others after they refused payment for a project. The defendent was an abusive cretin and in the end they paid me more than they owed.

I am solidly a team justice girl. 👌🏼

I suspect she will agree to the custody the day before the hearing and agree an overall settlement the day before the trial.

No way she will let a judge decide any of it. She will be better off negotiating a settlement but she will of course drag it out until the last minute because that causes Ioan the most stress and costs him the most money.

Think of all the wasted costs so far in the run up to the house sale. It would have cost a fortune for Ioan's submission, her response and Ioan's response to her response. All wasted costs, but she wants to bankrupt him so she will carry on with the financial abuse.
As I’ve mentioned before, I think she actually wants to go to court - appearing virtually, of course - to a) present herself as the injured, victimised, outraged and morally injured party and b) to trigger IG’s anxiety to the extent that he breaks down. She’ll never resist the temptation to twist the knife in the gaping wound - even to the extent of calling the children as witnesses, and coaching them rigorously, in the manner of Mia Farrow, beforehand.

alice is gonna show up to court with a bedazzled briefcase

She’ll certainly have a bedazzled Zoom filter. Or perhaps she’ll copy Meghan Markle and use the dog-ears filter, thinking that if MM could snare a prince with it, she could certainly win over the judge with it.

I suspect she will let at least one issue go all the way to the court room. She needs to have that one big performance

Oh, I don't know. I think she doesn't want Ioan to see her. Her Soho House pics were ok but hard to tell if she's lost any of the weight she wanted to lose. And if she doesn't show up, she can continue telling her minions about how gagged she is, that the court system is rigged and in Ioan's pocket (when her own lawyer has acted as a family court judge,) that she was prevented from telling her story, blah, blah, lies, blah, blah, blah.

I don't know if I'd say that. Home construction styles can vary widely depending on local climate and weather conditions, but teardowns are unusual (and expensive). My guess (and I am far from an expert) is that teardowns occur in highly desirable locations where for-profit developers can build something bigger and flashier and get more money.

I think their cute little WeHo stucco bungalow looked like a sweet little house, but a developer could put up a 2-story sleek cube on the lot

Similar houses on Alice's street:

A newer house across the street:

Much more square footage on the same lot.

Funny you should mention Mia Farrow, I watched the series/doco on Allen Vs Farrow a few days ago. I was in my teens when it happened so didn't pay much attention to it, but after watching the doco I was shocked! I know it's off topic, but do you think that Dylan was coached by Mia and was lying? I personally believe that he did abuse her, this is just my opinion after watching the doco, I've not read up on it, but from what the experts said on the doco they agreed she was abused and subsequently many actors apologised to her after working with him.

Anyway back on topic and because I've Neen manically busy today, does mAlice have to physically go to this hearing tomorrow? I'm assuming yes, in case they decide to throw her ass in jail!

It is in the US. 😂. We call them cookie cutter or tract houses.

If you check the market there are plenty rentals for 2-2.5k in or around WeHo with 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms and a garden

Although Ioan (or rather Bianca) is paying 3.4k a month for a 'box' that AE looks down on in WeHo.

Who would rent to her? No job and a criminal record when she gets fined for the DVRO breaches. Yes she will have a lump sum from the sale of the property but that doesn't last forever. She won't work and I don't know how much child and spousal support (if any) she is entitled to from an unemployed father who has a DVRO against her. Plus the kids won't be kids forever.

She would be better to buy something modest with the lump sum so that means no more WeHo. I still stand by my prediction that she will eventually be in a council flat in Bristol.
