She's been living off someone else's dime all her life, it's hard to change now, she hasn't the personality, figure or looks to attract a new sucker to bankroll her so she's trying to grift off the FM's.

unlikely, it's required to continue to provide health insurance until the divorce is completed. Due to Alice never filing for child support it's actually the sole thing he is required by law to provide, so he is probably prioritizing that (hence why he is not paying the other stuff, and why Bianca pays their expenses), there was still 15k in the bank after all, and residuals come in every few months. And you can actually push in many cases payments for quite some time before something happens.

Alice has claimed for months to not have a health insurance anymore (the kids too), that has always been a lie.

I don't know if he's lost it already, but if Ioan has not worked in months, he may be losing his Motion Picture health coverage soon.

based on the requirements he may have lost it a few weeks ago.

though he probably lost it already last year for some time (between march 2020 and august 2021 he only did one week of work), so idk how this works.

Edit: I wonder what is counted as working, as many actors dont work for 1-2 years, he is also working on their own project, so scouting out stuff for this may be accounted for? But again, idk how this even works.

It's complicated and is based on the number of worked hours in a given time period. Since Ioan is an actor, I probably should have linked to the SAG/AFTRA insurance site: https://www.sagaftraplans.org/health/eligibility

Actors who aren't lucky enough to get acting jobs have to get other jobs to pay their bills and hopefully, provide insurance benefits. It is a tough profession, for sure.

Though there are those who are already condemning Ella to being a carbon copy of Mother Dearest, I just don’t see it. I think Ella is very carefully circumnavigating the situation, exhibiting just enough hostility towards IG to belay her mother’s suspicions, and is waiting for the day she can get out of that hellhouse.

thank you for your lovely kind words, but it wasnt me surviving flamboyant performative victimhood, it was my friend! I knew her family and her dad well and only as a soul of the party kind of person, not witnessed his hysterics myself (those were for family only, never friends) and only learned about his behaviour from her (my friend, his daughter) when we were older and only recently (and a lot of it thanks to this thread!) truly understood what it meant - didnt know much about narcissism before! And in fairness there is no credit to me for being her friend as she made it very easy to love her, all her problematic behaviour was (and sometimes still is but to much lesser extent) directed at her husband and mum. Re your father: Im sure you are aware of the theory re Henry the VIII and him being knocked out of saddle at joisting tournament and spending considerable time unconscious in his younger days - researchers speculate he had been brain damaged and that changed his personality and lead to-we-all-know-what, apparently he used to be almost lovely before that episode (as much as a king at that time could be! May be (and Im not making light of your experience!) you could write a book one day! Sending you big hugs, it is so hard to think the little girl could have been put through so much sorrow! Im so glad you are now ok and feel whole x

Nah. The vomiting is a lie, probably the distended abdomen is too. She probably binges on food though. Eating disorders are all about control and AE doesn't have any self-control. She has the kind of personality that doesn't see the need to deny herself anything she wants, food included.

Eating disorders can be about control and are often highly related to feelings of being out of control. It's the "one thing" people feel they have some measure of control over. You can have bulimia and even anorexia and be overweight. ETA: I don't think she has an eating disorder, though I'm sure she'll add it to the list. I think she has a substance use disorder and is mentally ill due to an untreated personality disorder (among other things). I also think she's an abusive asshole and that has little to do with her conditions. Plenty of people have mental health conditions and aren't abusive or racists a-holes.
