We should be able to have political conversations respectfully but also I think it’s good to know when to move on and discuss something else. Just think people all over the political spectrum need to take it back a few notches.

I really enjoy owen’s earnestness. He isn’t going to be a paid writer any time soon but so what, he’s nice and positive and it’s nice to see.

I get what you mean about the show being comforting. After a pandemic and the cost of living crisis which is going to last for quite some time, it's nice to know some things are the same (bar the 2 years of castles). Ant & Dec bantering, us being entertained, speculating about who will do trials or get voted out, bitching about some, praising others. It's a welcome escape.

When Jill said it was like sludge/viscous I retched!!! So disgusting

It’s not a proper trial but I couldn’t have hacked the one where they had to have their head in a box with all those animals. The rats 😭 and the snakes!! Fuck that. I wonder if baba put on being afraid of frogs so he wouldn’t have to deal with the actually grim animals, like how can you be more afraid of frogs than snakes!

Same here, I just hope it's anyone but Matt.
Baba, Seann, Jill, Owen and Mike are all pleasant enough. If I had to pick out of those 5 I would probably choose Jill to win.

But just to annoy everyone I'll be voting for Boy George 😅

I think there is only really one person I dislike in there right now, with Sue and Charlene gone, and that is Chris Moyles. Having said that I don't detest him or anything. I see Seanns odds have changed a bit unfavourably now from 25/1 to 33/1 (but they're still miles better than some others) so maybe if he could do a trial and really give it his all, no matter the result, it might bump him up a bit more. Be lovely if he got to do the cyclone at least, or if not that, then to be the very last one voted out before the final. He has an awful lot of support and many people are seeing that the media bollocks from 4 years ago was way OTT. And his ex is still dining out on it. Less said about that the better. Who do I think will win? Jill or Owen.

I really hope Seann does a trial. I mentioned in a previous thread that the Strictly stuff nearly destroyed him and he’s still fragile. I think he’ll be massively anxious about letting the team down if he fails a trial but like you say he’s got a lot of support and the public are hopefully warming to him.

I haven't caught up on the thread, so it might have been said.. if you have been on the end of a narcissist then you recognise the behaviour and BG is definitely a narc!

You only have to take when Scarlette questioned him nicely and he became immediately defensive and told everyone how he was loved in prison 🙄
He defects everything and makes the person challenging him feel in the wrong or guilty.
He also can't just confront people and needs a back up, or just bitches behind people's backs rilling them up and hoping they'll go off, so another way to deflect attention of off his behaviour and get people to speak so he doesn't have too - it's a clever and standard game for narcs.
His good humour looks fine, but I guarantee that if he was at the end of said good humour or bitchiness then it would be a whole different picture.
He's popular either through good editing, or more likely the clever game that narcs play

I thought the same about the frogs! Although walking across that bridge would be a trial in its self for me 😂
