Wow he was ahead of his time with that contourIt is hard now to realise the impact Boy George and Culture Club had in the 80s.
People genuinely did not know if he was male or female. There were so many young teens wandering around dressed like him.
Who could forget his later black neck phase - to create the illusion of a chiselled jawline

If someone served time after they chained someone you know to a radiator and helt them hostage would you think "ah they're fine, they paid their dues?"Yep, I am aware of that incident. I also understand he paid his dues, i.e. he went to jail, willingly. He was also an addict when this happened and was having a psychotic episode. I am not trivialising what he did. He shouldn't be chastised for that incident for the rest of his life. He also got sober and has been for many years, which is courageous and commendable.
He is a wonderful person, highly intelligent, complex, talented, a free-thinker, witty etc.
Matt Hancock on the other hand..........
It's the false accent he puts on that I find exasperating.Exactly….. I find it rude!
He was ahead of his time full stop very unique and quite shocking to some in the 80'sWow he was ahead of his time with that contour
It’s unbelievable how people don’t care because “he served his time” shall we expect to see Gary Glitter in 2023 IAC then after he’s done his time?If someone served time after they chained someone you know to a radiator and helt them hostage would you think "ah they're fine, they paid their dues?"
He kidnapped someone ffs. I will never understand how people are so blasé about that.

He is also an MP, who should be at work, to help his constituency navigate themselves through some tricky times. Instead he is trying to forge a new career as a media personality, earning a big wedge of cash in the process. All about him. In the midst of the pandemic he brought in a woman he had long been attracted to into his department, gave her a high profile job, and was conducting an affair at the same time as his department was dealing with the crisis. His mind wasn’t on his role as Health Minister, he just wanted to get his leg over. He resisted resigning, he was made to in the end. Some people are going way overboard with Matt. I get people like to find someone to blame. But he didn't invent covid and nore did he have a decision to make save or kill people in care homes. It's not him alone unchecked making all the choices and I imagine there's lots of difficult decisions. UK had one of the highest death rates due to having the most unhealthy people in Europe & because it was testing so much. Not because Matt decided to push a button to kill people. Yes he had an affair, but with someone he was already in close contact with daily at work.

The pov that he should be working for his constituency is obvs very valid. He is also an MP, who should be at work, to help his constituency navigate themselves through some tricky times. He is a slimy liar, saying he wants to raise awareness for dyslexia, and bring politics to the people. He is doing this for one reason only, his days of a senior political appointment are over, he is not content to be a backbencher, he wants fame and easy cash. He could easily earn extra cash, like all MPs can, but it’s not enough - he wants to be a personality. He has also approached a tv company to pitch an idea of cameras following his new partner and him renovate their house. He, and I suspect his new partner, want to be tv personalities. He is not at all remorseful about his lack of morals or efficacy, and we are all supposed to go Aah, he was in love, we’ll forget about everything. He will probably win this show. Already that cowardly idiot Babatunde, who on day one was saying he shouldn’t be in there, is now all over him and liking his company. Babatunde is probably representative of the people who would like Hancock to win.
This programme has never been intelligent viewing, but it’s escapism, particularly being set in Oz during our winter. It wasn’t the same in Wales, the outdoor nature of the programme makes a difference. However bringing Hancock in negates the escapism aspect, it’s bringing in a reminder of depressing reality. Plus last night’s show was like an children’s tv programme. All that secret mole stuff was not funny or entertaining.
