Disappointed Matt is doing well in the trials šŸ˜‚ tbh assuming he does well in the next one itā€™s no point voting for him, he seems relatively calm compared to some when doing the trials. Hopefully heā€™ll stop being voted for then be fairly boring and get voted off. Donā€™t actually like any of them that much.

Also whoever here said Hancock had an affair with his Secretary, she was a departmental advisor, women have jobs other than secretaries nowadays šŸ™„

Yep, I am aware of that incident. I also understand he paid his dues, i.e. he went to jail, willingly. He was also an addict when this happened and was having a psychotic episode. I am not trivialising what he did. He shouldn't be chastised for that incident for the rest of his life. He also got sober and has been for many years, which is courageous and commendable.
He is a wonderful person, highly intelligent, complex, talented, a free-thinker, witty etc.

Matt Hancock on the other hand.......... :sick:

I couldn't believe when I read he was still only in his 40s. My partner is 58 and looks younger than him.

George won't like the fact that he was got the 2nd highest (I'm assuming he didn't get more than Matt) amount of votes to do the trial. He wouldn't have been expecting that. I'm torn when it comes to him. I have always liked him, but there is what he did, and yet Seann Walsh is getting so much hate for just a kiss. Noone will mention what George did, to him, but Seann and Matt got grilled (which I can understand, and I'm not defending especially Matt, but they're not the only ones with scandals).

I know first hand what a nasty arsehole Boy George is - I really can't stand him.

Around 20 years ago, a friend of mind at the time was approached by Boy George in a nightclub. He was pestered and harassed into going home with him. My friend refused. For which Boy George then became rude, aggressive aggressive and started pushing him around. Boy George was then ejected by the Club Security not long after.

My friend had a lucky escape in my opinion.

I am not surprised by this at all and I find the Matt Hancock Boy George who is worse comparisons laugahble. BG chained someone to a radiator and beat them with a metal chain!!!! I am no MH fan but just wow.

Yes I always find just a photograph a strange choice. You donā€™t forget what family look like in a few weeks. Perhaps they think it makes them appear ā€œnicerā€ to the viewers.
If you want a photograph, put it on a practical item like a blanket or a pillow, etc.
Iā€™m surprised Jill didnā€™t choose a football. Sweet Caroline to be played 3 times?! Odd.
 
For me, despite the Covid stuff obviously bringing things to the forefront - and I think he was completely set up with the cheating stuff, they're all at it in politics - it's the fact Hancock was such a dodgy fucker prior to all that. John Pilger's Dirty War on the NHS is a good watch, and that points out how he was in bed with private health tech firms trying to implement them into the NHS (despite unreliability) at cost to the taxpayer.

I am sure I read somewhere he was also involved in a private take over of an NHS hospital that failed and was handed back, but googling his name is pointless in the wake of all this.
