It’s funny isn’t it. I’m of an age where we had a school fancy dress disco and the majority of people dressed as Boy George. I explain it to my daughter that he was like Harry Styles in terms of fame/visibility. i also had to explaim to all my kids after they watched the Savile doc that he was the equivalent of Ant or Dec to us lot.
so times I forget I’m REALLY FUCKING OLD 😭

anyway can’t bloody wait for the fireworks tonight. got my dirty fries at the ready and might grab some vino 🍷🍷🍷

I don’t see a problem with Matt Hancock being in the jungle and I do think his decision to go in will make or break him. Behind the person is a human being, and I think we should give him a fair chance to see the person behind the news headlines and criticism, which is often hyped up to a narrative to paint people in the most negative light possible.

The pandemic isn’t solely down to Matt Hancock’s doing? He isn’t the first or last politician to break covid rules and he isn’t the first person to cheat on his partner (Sean Walsh? Mike Tindall?). Boy George also remember did a stint in jail and has skeletons in his closet too?

Whatever happened to the be kind narrative? Or does that only apply to the holier than now people?

I hope he smashes the trial tonight and brings home every star to camp and if be, smash every trial - because ultimately it will be boring viewing. I’d much rather see Charlene do a trial to be honest!

I'm a bit behind in this thread - but I've brought my pitchfork!!!

My issue with Matt Hancock is that he is still a member of Parliament, being paid by you and I.

I struggle to get time off work to take my old dear to medical appointments and here he is participating in a reality TV show and not doing the job he's paid for.

I wouldn't really have a problem if he had resigned from parliament, but he hasn't.

And!!! This is the second show he's done - he's already filmed Celebrity SAS. So this is the second time he's taken a leave of absence from his role.

That probably says more about parliament and their rules than him as a person but honestly this is the highest level of hypocrisy!!!

People are struggling and this git already earns £80k and here he is getting mega bucks for two side gigs.

I also can't stand Charlene but have purposely downloaded the app so I can vote for a Tory for the first time in my life.
