So let’s say she still gets her Universal Credit, her child benefit, her ESA, discretionary housing payments, household support funds, her board and lodgings money from The Eldest which you can bet is half of all the household bills at least, and then on top of that she gets Maintenance Grants/Loans, disabled students allowance, special support grants and allowances for lone parents, etc., she’s not wrong, she will be laughing all the way to the bank!
But then where’s her incentive to get a job after she’s finished the course? Because she’ll soon realise that mu Masters doesn’t qualify you for anything above a starter salary if you’ve got no work experience and references. Nor would mu PhD.
And you can bet she’ll be booking Legoland tickets for mu babies and dressing them head to toe in North Face instead of clearing up her debts and laying down financial foundations for the future with all her additional income.
Maybe I ought to take a leaf out of her book, I’m bored of tracking every penny in a spreadsheet.
