I hope she does leave. Shrieking into the void at 2am, marinading in horrible images from Palestine and sharing your every brainfart can't be good for you. I hope she leaves Facebook as well, or at least leaves all the missing person groups and their weird brainrot theories.

I hope she spends the summer resetting her sleep pattern and the kids', and learning some time management and other skills preparatory to going back to education or a job or whatever it is she's been breadcrumbing.

Some tips for you, Sarah:
  • You can use parental controls provided by your ISP to block websites at source, this will affect everyone who connects to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Some ISPs allow you to block specific devices (i.e. your phone) from accessing certain website (i.e. Twitter) leaving other users unaffected. Given you have another adult in the house they might prefer this.
  • You can get browser add-ons for both mobile and desktop/tablet browsers that, again, block certain websites. I use one to stop me hate-scrolling the Daily Mail. I find the big "access denied" screen is a sufficient prompt to my self-control that I don't then try and go around the block, I go off and do something else instead.
if you don't trust yourself to manage this yourself you could enlist your eldest to help - he can be the one who sets up the passwords etc and he doesn't tell you what they are.

Going to throw it out there one of them was her. She’s clearly figured out now likes don’t show she can like her own posts. Why, I do not know. I’ve said this before, but social media platforms put restrictions on people trying to inflate their engagement.

It’s funny when she ponders why her engagement is so bad. Mr SSS works in this field so I know a bit about it and she’s 100% being surpressed because she likes and retweets her own tweets.

I wonder if part of the reason Roadside Mum fucked off- aside from being exposed as a total charlatan performing gypsy face- was Sarah sliding up to her with some sort of awright darlin I'm just like you being tornmented for my socialisms if her DMs were open. She'd have been like a dog with a bone if she'd have got any response.

Very feasible. We’ve all seen her tag her neckbeards in tweets when they don’t naturally engage.

I went back and found what I posted on the guest threads about discovering that the poor mum in Aldi was actually the same long-term repeat beggar who’d been getting called out for years. This was before Saz got her own threads:

She’s sober. It makes me laugh she doesn’t understand why we say she’s pissed all of the time. Let me break it down for you Saz if your spelling, anger and attitude is that bad sober I’d be very worried about you.

She has the self reflection ability of a wo that’s been cut in half.

As someone who gave up alcohol I can tell you the only people who scream “I don’t drink” every other day are the ones that are not doing great with giving up. At social events (which we all know she doesn’t go to anyway) I’ve found that telling people I don’t drink gets some very odd looks so I just try not to mention it.

Why doesn't she just leave twitter? Why this massive build up?
I guess she's desperate for people to ask why she's going so she can be coy and say she'll be busy due to her 'career'.
