We had people through this weekend (although one cancelled) but we had to ring to get feedback. I am surprised anyone came tbh, we have loads of trees near us and I probably would have taken one look, been polite and left.

Heard nothing since. I’m hoping it will pick up after Christmas. 😞

That’s brilliant news, it will be a real weight off I imagine, but with lots of emotions too. ❤️

Contents and Buildings insurance- to say that you no longer need the property insured. Post also maybe? Set up a mail redirection for a set time until you know you have dealt with all the ones that could possibly come in. There may still be mailings from banks etc coming in in a few months time that you don’t want the new owners to see. You can have it set to your house or the post office (whichever is easier logistically or emotionally to deal with).

I moved in November 2023 and our old house still hasn't updated on land registry

I wanted to buy more land for our new house so contacted them to update that one, which they did

It took two years for my new build to be registered with land registry.
