Do you have any recommendations for horror movies that are actually good? Recently watched Annabelle and Hereditary and they were both crappy and overrated imo.
Are there any films that have decent acting and satisfying endings?

Has anyone watched Talk To Me? Amazon Prime. Really good, I thought.
I will give The Sadness a try, I prefer subtitled films to badly dubbed ones, and SE Asian horror is good.

Watched it on Netflix thought it was good
Just watched Disappear Completely on Netflix that was good as well

Has anyone here watched "The Sadness" ?
I think you'd have to be a proper hardcore horror film fan and also prepared to watch subtitled as this is from Taiwan.
This is BY FAR the most horrendous film I have ever seen but brilliant. Highly recommended

The Sadness was so good but so disturbing!

my last few horror films I watched...

Night Swim - I liked it, had some creepiness to it.

Gacy serial Killer next door .... boring, more like a tv movie.

The Exorcist Believer - it was good loved the Linda Blair cameo.

The Black Demon - just another shark movie, nothing special.. expected better

We sometimes watch TalkingPicturesTV on a Friday night, from 9pm they have a double or triple bill of horror movies (The Cellar Club with Caroline Munro)
They can be hit or miss, usually 70s 80s 90s horror/thriller movies, but you get the odd gem.

Yeah I enjoyed cobweb right until the end part. It turned silly haha.
I haven’t seen no one will save you (I don’t think).

I watched infested on prime the other week, it’s in French but I enjoy that actually.
I also watched late night with the devil and didn’t really think much of it tbh. But then again, those types of horror movies are not really my bag.

Waiting for Abigail to reduce from £15.99 on prime before I buy that

didnt Know this was a horror/thriller series! I don’t think they’ve done a very good job of promoting it as such, I just assumed it was a drama. Will check it out

I’m loving this series but I wouldn’t call it a horror. Might just be my opinion but it’s a suspense drama if you ask me
