Anyone else found it weird how she kept talking about their new "running machine" in her newest video? Everyone I have ever met calls it a treadmill. Running machine sounds like something a little kid would say when their vocab isn't super developed. But then again, I'm not sure if it's just a UK vs. North America difference.

It's really visible just how much her hairline is receding when she wears her hair down. I wonder if that's the reason she keeps putting it up in that bun – that she's gone too far to stop.

she could wear a thick headband (like the “granola girl” ones) and have a looser bun Or braid her hair and allow the baby hairs to thicken.

I don’t mind the space buns per se; they’re just TOO tight.

I have a weird hairline and a lot of baby hairs - trichotillomania - and thick headbands are great when trying to either break pulling cycle or grow uneven sections out

Yeah she has raised 260 pounds so far, and 50 of those are from her grandparents as far as I can see. But I guess better than nothing? I still don't see how she manages to train for a marathon while finishing her final project for her Master's at the same time but oh well
what happens if you don't raise it? do they still let you run? I get that she doesn't really have friends who would donate but I would have thought her followers would

Okay I'm just flabberghasted at that, I had no idea! Running in the London Marathon really is expensive huh.

But then it's really baffling that Holly doesn't advertise her donations page more on her channel. Or maybe I'm being naive and she can easily afford to spend like 4000 pounds for running in a marathon..

It’s ‘expensive’ if you have a charity entry (most have a minimum requirement of £2000+) but a ballot/good for age place is actually one of the least expensive out of all UK marathons! She will have to pay the full amount if not gained through sponsorship although they give you a bit of time post marathon too - and yes, even if she doesn’t run it she’ll have to pay! So I don’t get why she has neglected the fundraising side…

Super snarky here but whenever people outline their days on YT, especially the “super productive” people, I think “how boring is this?” and if I detailed everything I did in a day, I’d probably have been “more productive” than these people whose whole persona is built on being productive.

what do you mean?
though I don't live an exciting life and her productive days sound even more boring than my depressive episodes

Sorry if I didn’t explain it well. I meant that their days are broken down into the minutiae of what they have done eg “I woke up, then I drew the curtains, and then I used the bathroom, then I answered the door to a delivery, and then I made a cup of tea etc”. If I did that, and wrote a to do list of all these things, my day would “look” like I’d done loads…of normal mundane stuff that everyone does!

"Sushi is literally one of my favourite things ever" - only eats avocado and cucumber roll, probably doesn't dip in soy sauce and wasabi
"Excited to go to Japan one day to eat actual sushi" - are you sure, Holly?

No offense to other vegans....I just find it so odd how Holly would call herself a "foodie" because sushi is her favourite food. It's like saying fish&chips is your favourite meal but you've only eaten chips cuz it's the only vegan thing you can eat.
She should totally try vegetable kimbap tho, I think she'll like that.

yeah I agree, I am not vegan but if I was sushi would not be the food I was eating, there are so many other vegan options, especially in terms of asian food, why have something that must be so bland?
