Having the best time! We’ve done Santa Barbara and currently in vegas though leaving today and doing a bit of route 66 today to head to LA .. the most amazing time so farWelcome! I hope we are doing a good job of giving you the best time ever, whichever part you are in. I ordered good weather for you.
Any recs for the Amalfi coast? I'm trying to decide if I should stay in Sorrento or Salerno with day trips to the main towns by ferry?
Plus one for Sorrento, a great base, you'll get more bang for your buck in accomodation and its a lot easier to walk around that the amalfi townsWe stayed in Sorrento and did day trips to Capri, Pompeii, Positano and Amalfi. I've never stayed in Salerno so can't comment on what it's like, but Sorrento is fab and while it can be expensive it is less so than Amalfi or Positano.
I’ve seen comments from people there now saying they are under control. Still really scary, I hope you’ll be unaffected. We’re off there (Marmari) at the end of the month. We're headed to Kos next week and just saw the news about the wildfires it looks to be on the other side of the island to where we would be but it's still pretty scary
Egypt and Morocco will be hot too Dubia alsoLooking to go away in December for a week for some winter sun, never been away this time of year before. Where’s best to go?
YES went last year and LOVED it. Depending on what you want to do Budva (old town area)/Kotor/Tivat areas are good for relaxing, but we loved going to the mountains too and hikingHas anyone been to Montenegro? I’m looking at going at the end of August / would you recommend it? Looking to go to a place where I can relax as well as get the opportunity to explore a new place.
I know several people who have been to Valletta and all of them have loved it.Looking for opinions/experiences of both Trieste and Valletta.
Thanks!
Any tips on visiting Mauritius please?
Favourite places to stay/eat? Things to do, etc?
I’ve had people tell me flic en flac is the best place to stay?

The roads are good if you want to drive, or the buses there were greatAh, I feel a little better now as I wasn’t sure on what the balance would be like between towns, relaxing and being a little active. It sounds perfect.
We’re about 30 minutes out of Kotor so I’m hoping transport is okay when we’re there.
