Holidays #4 2024 onwards

Well our travel plans have stopped for the foreseeable until baby Shiny is here. Would it be too ambitious to think about going away for a week short haul next year when they are about 3 months old?

I flew on my own to turkey with 13 week old and a 3 year old for 10 days. Had a kitchen etc in apartment so was easy for sterilising etc. I think it’s easier to go on holiday when they are little and not walking 🤣 x
 
Does anyone know if you can check in hold luggage at different times. We are traveling as a pair but one train gets in before the other so we were going to meet after security. Can I check my bag in and go through security and then my friend check hers in when she gets to the airport? We are on the same flight booking or do all bags have to be checked at the same time? (easyJet)

Pretty sure everyone from a booking has to check in at the same time. I know sometimes airlines make a point of saying not everyone needs to come to the desk together 1 person can check in everyone's bags, which makes me think it's the bags being together which is the important part?

I've been on group holidays and we all booked in seperately
 
Thanks guys I did check with easyJet on the online chat they said we can but they originally didn't understand what I meant so I was a bit worried they still didn't. We will ask when we get there and if we have to we will wait for the other person to arrive but hopefully we should be able to do it before they get there
 
If anybody needs to buy travel insurance. This arrived in the post today. We don’t need it. But I assume it’s a generic cose

Each person will have their own boarding pass, you show that and your passport at the check in desk and then just check in your bag. You can then go through security and wait for your friend.
no one should ever check in anyone else’s bag. They will ask you ‘is this your bag and did you pack it yourself?’

According to easyJet you can check in other people's bags but I thought the same as you!
