I reckon they have either read here or been told what we were saying somehow RE the "background chatter" - not nearly as much as there was. Ben still laughing but that i can handle

Does anyone listen to the radio and has noticed William doing adverts now? I keep hearing him on a Walkers crisps one, and there's an Ikea one every now and then too. I've also seen him doing quite a few ads on Tiktok too

It definitely feels like they have dialled down the background chatter over the last couple of episodes. Not sure if the survey feedback we all seem to have provided would impact that quickly but let’s hope so

Sounds like Jordan’s 4:30am alarm calls (not that he likes to mention it!) are working out - huge increase in listeners in yesterdays RAJAR(?) figures

I've listened to a couple of episodes recently for the first time in months. It seemed like it had actually improved a bit, with less background noise and some normal stories/dilemmas. And then I got to the ones with the stories about the man pissing on someones leg at the urinal and running away, and the one where the bloke wrote in to say he sent a video of himself wanking to the delivery man or whatever it was. So now I've given up again. It used to be funny when it was just the odd shocking story here and there, but now 99% of them are sex related even though they bang on that 'we're not a sex podcast' and they are so clearly just totally made up because they aren't believable for a second

I have to say, I'm finding William quite insufferable. His whole Posh Boy shtick is getting old, it was amusing for a while but now he's just annoying me.

I don’t think they’ve taken any of the feedback on board, this weeks episode was soooo much of Ben and Izzy talking and laughing. They’ve probably taken the feedback and decided not
To do anything with it, they may like the clout and the attention.
It’s weird because I listen to other podcasts and they include the producers , which for some reason I don’t mind. But there’s something about HISMB that I don’t like. Weird

Yeah they've went back to the behind the scenes giggling which did seem to have been tamed for the last few episodes previous.

I've not listened in months.

I loved the live show, I'd wake up on Tuesdays and Fridays and be excited that a new episode was available. But the clearly fake stories, the heavy presence of the producers, it's all ruined it for me.

Don't get me wrong, I like Ben, but I don't listen for him, Izzy or Chairman Emeritus. I listen for Jordan and William.

Although, hot take, the time Ben was away was probably the time I enjoyed the pod the most.

Re: William, I've sometimes found what he's said offensive to those who don't come from money like him, looking down on people cos they're shopping at somewhere that isn't Fortnum and Mason or whatever its called. I haven't listened for ages, there's so many great podcasts now that it's fallen down my list. It got me through lockdown which I'll be thankful for, but I think I've outgrown it now and might just be too old for their target audience.
