When Insta served me this post with just the image and the first line, I 100% thought they were announcing the end of the pod and wondered why they had chosen such a random time to do it.

I totally agree with all the points raised here - I don’t mind change but suddenly having a whole crew of people sniggering away or being referred to with in-jokes has really changed the vibe of the show. I would pinpoint it to the time when Ben went travelling and Stuart leaned in and seems to not have backed off since. I know he’s the big boss but it shows a real lack of understanding of what made the show brilliant!
 
I love the boys as have been listening for years now, but this "background folk" are really grinding my gears now. It used to be quite endearing when producer Ben would laughin the background as we would generally all be laughing at the shock factor of what was just said or Jordan being Jordan - but i am in NO WAY interested in listening to them all chat amongst one another about where Izzy used to work and who has done what in the past when they've all been out.

Bring it back to basics boys please!
 
I couldn't understand the strap on story about the guy having to go hospital, why didn't his partner take off whilst waiting for paramedics? Probably cos it's a fake story. There was another one recently that made me switch off. It did make me laugh when they playing that clip of the other podcast slagging them off for being too much about smut/sex. It's also interesting when I went to their previous live show it was in a more intimate venue whereas now the venues are bigger, there's cinema screenings, there's a youtube channel. I think winning awards and having a book n all the other stuff that makes them money will mean they carry on this direction. And am over hearing "potato peeler" too!!
 
I reckon Jordan is knackered and burning the candle at both ends. Not sure about William, he never seemed very big so I doubt he would need weight loss injections
 
I don’t know, he has the ozempic face lol

Couldn’t agree more!! Hopefully they read here and take note! It feels so impersonal and performative with the loud laughter in the background!
