One Christmas my mum put strawberry jam on the table instead of cranberry 😂it’s now a standing joke 😂😂😂my nan tried it with her turkey-apparently it was quite nice 😂😂

I'm coming to hate that term.

My Smegs-loving thankfully-former exhibition organiser has started events named "<her name> curates <event name>". The same format is being used by many other organisers. They care nothing about art or artists though 🙄

Someone rewrote my profile to say that I "curate" my artwork. Informed them gently (with great difficulty, but they're a good friend and much younger than me) about the huge difference between curating and creating - it's rather insulting, given that 'curating' has now become the easy way out. Just collect a few things and sell them. A real curator's work is far more complex and actually adds value to the products.

Smegs just embodies everything that is wrong - lazy, grifting bully who sees everything and everyone as a commodity.

Who's made the cut.....like it's something loads wanted in on. My god aren't they even slightly embarrassed about how they talk of Duchess Jam Tart? She's not aspirational, she's disastrous.

So I don't think they should speak of making the cut, it should be about joining the cult.

Yes - didn't she have Louise prematurely because of placenta abruption (where the placenta detaches and caused a haemorrhage and risks starving the baby of oxygen)? It is a life threatening emergency for both mother and baby. IIRC Edward was not even in the country as it was so early he was on an overseas trip.

I cannot see Megain wanting any child born in a public/NHS hospital - whether giving birth or surrogate - she would demand the poshest private suite and staff signing NDAs
 
I'm so behind but I literally had no idea who this Tiegen person is (am old) so had to google.

Appears she's a suitcase buddy who's got a bemusingly reverse mirror numbered (was the Princess of Montecito expecting that?) jar of sloppy seconds she's using up (waste not want not) in a rather vibrant sounding bacon sarnie.

Hello everyone thanks for your kind words I should find out tomorrow if neighbour's friend still wants Inky if not have spoken to the local cat welfare place & I know Inky will find an Amazing home thru them ,

not sure if any one saw my post in the tea chat thread about feeling Guilty for embracing Inky into My life because I felt a little disloyal to Zippy it was such a weird feeling but I spoke to My friend earlier about it and She admitted she feels the same when they rescue another cat/dog insert various Animals lol .

Unforantly My housing Ass won't allow dogs in flats because of shared comunial areas which is a fair point tbh . A mate said I should get a small reptile because birds are out as well because of the feather dust because the Dr said now that the allergy has been triggered it will take a while to settle down .

& to keep this on topic sort of I have a Harkles allergy

Actual strawberry jam might go well with brie and bacon (have never tasted it, I think, but the descriptions sound tempting!), but not the sludge that Smegs is selling. That texture is not good at all!

My friend has eaten cheddar cheese that's then spread with jam in wholemeal bread sandwiches since we were kids !

Comparisons are odious.

NHS v Coronation is like comparing blood with strawberry jam
Two very different functions.

Without the Monarchy's support the NHS would not be here.

But yes, much of the NHS spending is highly dubious.
Look what they squandered Sir Tom's sponsored walk donation on.
Staff snacks mainly.

And both the NHS and the Monarchy's spending are out of our hands when they should be under the public's control.

I wouldn't be surprised if she sent one to Julia Roberts. Other guesses I'd say Gloria Steinem, maybe Oprah but not sure. Someone on X said they think she'll send a jar to Weinstein.

I said I would never mention the J** word again so I won’t ........ but I used to work with a chap who ate current tea cakes spread with SALMON SPREAD at least twice a week for his lunch...... lovingly made by his wife! 🤢

Mr Wise liked current tea cakes with Cheshire cheese on them and took them to work for his lunch once a week. 😋
