One of my madder mates ended up being Professor (have to be careful no to out people) at a Dutch university, despite not being Dutch. One of the conditions was he had to do an acceptance speech (about Modern european Literature) in Dutch. They gave him 3 years to learn the language and he did it perfectly in a couple of months. I asked him how he had done something so amazing, and he said two things: 1) you have these lingusitics burst in 7 (or some such) year cycles - so if you acquire the habit you can pick up most languages (if you have to) by the age of 27 (then it becomes very difficult; and 2) he was a brilliant mimic.... (ie he "pretended"). He was a lovely, humble, person - the really smart ones are, and its usually a terrible burden.
For whats its worth inho the ability to speak languages is no more an indication of proper usefull intelligence (or skill) than the ability to count backwards in base 11; or sing in tune; or make people happy..I'd better shut up.

I can understand and speak fluent Spanish (growing up in southern California helped greatly) like a mad woman when I've "indulged" in a few.......but couldn't tell you half of what I said when I once sobered up 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ Can tend to lead to some awkward, umm, the day after, moments to say the least. When my Great Grandparents would start speaking Dutch, that's when you know someone or some good gossip was being discussed. Same with the Cajun French and Spanish around here 😂😂😂😂

The thing with Lady C is that she's not afraid to offend, she truly doesn't give a tit, prince or pauper. If she has something to say then she just will say it. HOWEVER, she's also quite fair and honest. If someone earns praise then she'll give it, so I suspect the book will be an odd mix of battering them and occasionally giving credit where it's due. But I'd love it to be totally trashing them.
If smeggy has put the call out for her supporters to contact lady C and big her (smeggy)up then it won't go down well with her.

This is very strange. It is word by word what she said in the one I posted, from LCCs own channel. In LCCs video the qustions were asked by her son, who read them from his phone. Lady CC also wore different clothes. But the undertitels had the exact same spelling errors. 'gabbels' instead of 'Goebbels' and so forth.

BTW the BRF had someone trying to find some diplomatic function for the dastardly duo abroad last year. Only the poor sod wasn't able to twist s.o. arm strong enough to take them on.

David Manning and Lord Christopher Geidt were the ones looking and it was in the papers June 2019.

Even David and Wallis could be shipped off to the Bahamas :rolleyes:

My cousin works for the East Anglian Air Ambulance and William was a colleague, she once wondered aloud why Harry didn't do a similar job after he left the Army to which the reply was Harry didn't have a licence. I don't know if a commercial licence is different to a Army one?

William also let slip that they would have one more child (Charlotte was a baby at the time) as Catherine had had such a wonderful childhood and wanted to replicate it with her own children.

No other gossip, as he was "lovely" and my cousin was very protective of his privacy.
