I once saw Princess Anne (in real life) back in the 1980s at an event and I remember thinking that she looked very pretty - certainly much better looking than she generally appears in photos.

She's never been one for 'glam' though as you say.

Well that’s OK enough for Harry but what of what William needed at that time.
That an adult ‘got’ William to do this does not say ‘closeness’ more like he was co-opted into caring for Harry, rather as W did for Diana & her emotional needs.

I imagine W really has enough of H.

Jeremy Vine's wife and children are white. As far as I can tell his siblings aren't married to POCs.

The majority of people don't have a rainbow family to pull out to prove that they aren't being racist at a covid funeral. Some do and that's fine too but most people of ALL ethnicities don't.

We're here discussing close relatives being cut, not wondering why there are 800 white people in the chapel. If it was any other year then there would certainly be POC present both those he knew personally and those representing various countries and organisations.

As for the Harkles and Eugenie? I lean back and forth. Something might be going on there.

I think Meghan might actually have met Eugenie before but that doesn't mean they had any special friendship or bond as is now being pushed by certain parties.

However if they did then that again pours BS on her claims not to know anything about the BRF before randomly getting set up with Harry. And hey, maybe Eugenie could have helped her google the National Anthem!

It's also possible that Eugenie has "genuinely" maintained a closer relationship with them post flounce but they went after her and her sister too with the whine about how they work and get to keep their HRHs. Not to mention she tarred them by association with her comments. I saw a some people claiming it was probably Eugenie that made the skin colour comment because she was Andrew's daughter :rolleyes: and because she and Harry were neighbours so had more opportunity.

If they were genuinely close then why not say it as a counter point to going after Kate?

I thought this pic had been identified as from when he was attending the opening of the Silverstone Museum a few years ago where he met Lewis Hamilton... problem 6 threads back now :)

Full panic mode now!! When Ginge gets back they will be on the whinge wheel again probably about all the disrespect for his position and Nana wouldn't let him wear his dress up clothes.

I really hope he stays away for good, he is unwanted and unliked and causes nothing but bad feelings, still hope William fills him in but expect Minger will do that if he has come back without any goodies.I

From what I have read in LadyC’s book, MM never makes the first move to make up & will stubbornly not give an inch.
I expect that Hazza is made the same way - another element of recognising themselves in the other, & I think a strong factor in why Hazza fell head over heels for M who instinctively knew just how to play him.

After so much shade & disrespect thrown by H&M, there is little patience left for him.

Peter Phillips' children aren't invited.

If Smeg had been given the all clear to travel, wanted to be the centre of attention, or actually had an invite, I think the obvious person to bump off the list would be Daniel Chatto.
 
It will be a shame if they don't wear their uniforms as per PP's wishes, but I can't help but think that with the wearing of black masks with their colourful uniforms, braid and medals it will look a bit odd? I am absolutely sure that when they can there will a fantastic celebration of his life, and all those who couldn't attend Heads of the commonwealth and more of the forces/naval head honchos, it will be a lovely thing bright, colourful, choirs, readings and fond memories. I hope so anyway

On another note, Alex Belfield said in one of his last videos the MM is coming back in June for the Diana statue unveiling. Has anybody else heard anything about this? She will either have just given "birth". taken possession of the fed ex parcel. and not able to attend hopefully. If they go ahead with the statue unveiling I hope is just the 2 brothers and not wives.
