I think he was quite a ladies man in his younger days. Though fathering and attempting to deny a child is a step above again! 😱 My elder sister had a 'horsey' friend when they were younger who continued in competitive equestrian events including charity events. In her late 20s she was sat beside Captain Phillips when he was still married to Anne at one of these events, and he was described as extremely charming and wonderful, attentive company by my sister's friend at this lunch. I think she was quite besotted, particular as he was the exact opposite of her non horsey loving husband. 😍 He apparently had a terrific sense of humour also, so I'm guessing he could charm any rider. 😉

Hmmm, Felicity (is the name of the child he fathered). She's an equine vet here in Auckland, NZ (really, really lovely lady and quite similar in looks to Zara).

Yes I understand why he's there but I don't understand why in the procession? Or is it males, old/young enough PLUS Anne? (rightly so). Catherine will have to tend to family, Sophie likely also. If not would they have been in the procession? Also, there's no Zara?

I'm just curious, not nitpicking 😊

Next question, why a different order in second pic? I'm guessing a narrower aisle? 🤔

Remembering the last service W and H were together at the Commonwealth service and the look of barely concealed fury on Ws face, its a good thing they will be wearing masks tomorrow. Hs antics which caused the fury then were nothing compared to his interview so I bet it will take W every ounce of his being to not want to throttle H and will not want to be anywhere near him

I think this is one area where gender often does play a role, even if HMTQ would have been okay with it if all of her granddaughters had wanted to follow his coffin. He's the only son in law, he's a navy man (and would have matched everyone in uniform in the original plan).

You've got his four children, then three grandsons all in a line so that they're all equal and the feud-a-lots don't have to stand next to each other then nephew and son in law bringing up the rear.

It makes sense even if it's not the only configuration that would have made sense.

I think the sickliest sugars would think that was so touching that she could give Prince Philip a special tribute from afar ... they seem completely brainwashed when it comes to her (mind you, they're probably paid Bots who'll say anything for the lure of a buck).

I feel so sad ... this should be ALL about Prince Phillip - yet Meghan manages to make it all about her, AGAIN.

I wonder if Gayle's "special guest" will be Archie (Gavin), the wonder child, who can suddenly read an autocue and talk in full sentences.
